1. Holy shit, you guys, this video embodies everything I'm obsessed with right now: space, crystals, refracting light, giant geometric shapes, psychedelic colors, metallics, dead center closeups of faces. What era is that color scheme coming from again? 70's? 80's? I don't know my design history.
It blew my mind!!! Well, okay, it blew my mind and then I felt bad because before I saw it I was planning to do a multicolor metallic crystalscape for the picture I'm working on, Artemis In The Space Age, and now I feel like I should do something different. I always feel that way when I find out someone else is doing the full range of the stuff I'm doing, except, um, better. When I discovered Jillian Tamaki a year ago I was like, "Shit!" because I don't want to be a poor man's Jillian Tamaki, you know?
2. I am so into Mark Weaver's work. Have I mentioned this? I'm mentioning it again.
