also, i had a really good conversation with kulveen over gchat. she's a smart (and clairvoyant) cookie :).
my sistas and elyse and ethnie and i took a long walk on the beach tonight, with the ghost crabs scuttling everywhere. it was very nice. :) and i love the ocean. i love being in it. i love being with my grandma. she's lost weight since my grandpa died, and i hope she's relatively okay.
my cousin keiti writes songs! and is actually a really, impressively good singer/songwriter/guitarist. i am way impressed. it's the quiet ones who hide amazing talents, so often...

also, i'm reading the witch of blackbird pond. which is a most excellent young adult book. it's actually making me feel deep ways that i haven't thought about in a while, even though it's a kid's book. but... mmm it's a good one.
