I did some trivia game at school at a Health Education table. And I won yellow ear plugs!
Did you know that sleep deprivation can result in side-effects similar to being drunk? Yup, it's true! Research has shown that drivers who have been awake for 17-19 hours may perform worse than drivers with a blood alcohol level or 0.05%.
And I found the following to be interesting regarding good sleep habits:
- We should go to bed and wake up at the same time everyday (including weekends)
- For some odd reason, we should avoid exercising in the evening
- We should try to avoid daytime naps
- We should wait until we're feeling sleepy before going to bed
