Welp.
Yesterday was a grand adventure, I'll tell you.
Due to some kind of shenanigans, I had to go to my nearest bank branch as a favor for mom and get some things taken care of. That's cool and all, the only problem....IT WAS RAINING BALLS. Of course, I couldn't find my umbrella so I had to run to the corner store and get one. Already kind of wet, I then walked about 20 blocks and was well and truly soaked. I would've taken the bus if I hadn't missed it, and had less than an hour to get there. >=/
At least I ran into one of my dad's relatives at the bank and we caught up for a bit, before I walked back home. Best part: It tapered off to a drizzle when I got to my doorstep. Yeah, thanks nature. Really appreciate it.
On a better note, has anyone been paying attention to Nickelodeon lately? They've brought back a 90's block around midnight and a lot of favorites are coming around again. Rumor has it that Legends of the Hidden Temple might make it back onto the air, and I'm watching like a hawk for confirmation. I've been going back and watching all the temple runs I can find, and the nostalgia...*fondest smile here* The grand victories, the most painful losses, THE DAMN PEPPERONI!
