Apparently, some luck came over my way cause I'm finally getting a laptop. I was holding out to find a nice one with XP since the general opinion on Vista didn't seem too good, but I broke down after seeing an awesome package deal on one of the shopping channels. It came with all the things I was looking for, including an NVIDIA card, and the Vista actually looked pretty cool. So hopefully be the end of the month, I should have a computer that doesn't suck. =3
Oh, as for Tekkoshocon, we got our confirmation email. Now it's pretty much set in stone, Tekko is go! Should be heading down Thursday for badge pickup, so I'll be looking forward to chatting it up with the other early birds. =P
