1. GAY RAINBOW BOYBANDS
Haha, oh man! This is totally Eggo's fault! One magical day, I went through my flist and found a post of NEWS fic. This would be my doom, as I read said fic and loved it, even though I didn't know anything about the band. So Eggo gave me the magical links, and my life was changed forever! Good GOD, Japanese/Korean boybands are amazing. There's just so much crack and wonderful music! I'll just say ARASHI! and leave it at that.
2. Iggy!
COOLEST DOG EVER IN ANIME/MANGA. END OF STORY. Seriously though, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is the craziest manga I've ever come in contact with, and like most others who know it, part 3 is my favorite. Unexpectedly, out of all the badass characters, the one that truly won me over...was the dog that came out of nowhere! I mean, rude little Boston Terrier basically does whatever he wants, kicks ass, and has a crowning moment of awesome? (Highlght: and BAWWWWWW!) Perfect!
3. Yasha
Again, totally Eggo's fault only this time it's an incredibly derpy Japanese live action drama involving twins. WITH SUPERPOWERS. AND IT'S SOOOOOOOOO GAY! I fell in love with it from the jump. >.<
4. Kaiji
Oh, Kaiji. I came across it due to watching Akagi first, because I was on a major Mahjong kickat the time. At first the style was really throwing me but as soon as Akagi started being well...Akagi, everything was AWWWRRRIIIGGHHHTT! So I immediately looked for anything else Fukumoto had done, and there was Kaiji. I don't think I've ever flailed and cried MANLY TEARS so much over the course of one series before. Kaiji's such a lovable loser, you can't help but feel for him. Plus, it's a freaking crazy gambling anime! How often do you see that come around?
5. Jewelry making
I'm taking classes right now, and they are wonderful! The school I'm going to has such nice and knowledgeable instructors, the price for the class was very reasonable, and I'm actually good at it! Most importantly, it's fun and something I can see myself doing as a career, so I'm really quite happy with the way things are progressing. I've made a ring, earrings, a pendant, a chain, etc. \^_^/
