T'was the night before Christmas...
...and all through the house, I danced like a loon, flailing about. Things have gotten a lot better since Monday.
My aunt's in the ICU now, and she got up for a little bit and recognized everyone, which is good. I managed to put up the Christmas tree without killing myself, even though some of the lights blew out when I plugged them in. Had a bit of a scare when I went to the corner store to get some more of them, though. Some idiots were either playing with firecrackers or shooting outside while I was shopping. Nearly everyone went to the windows to see what was going on, but thankfully nothing happened.
Best of all, I checked the mailbox on the way in, and my test results came back! I'm officially in the clear! Now I don't have to worry about retaking it, and I can apply for my all my school stuff in the spring. Nicest present I could get from the state, for sure. I called a bunch of my family members since they wanted to know the results as soon as they came in. Now I'm watching holiday specials and cuddling with my dog.
