Last week was "family vacation week". We started off by going to Disney on the forth of july, it was a nice fireworks spectacle, Tytus came and we were all really stressed and hot because the park was crowded. Nonetheless, it was nice to be at Disney. The next day was off to some beach that was supposedly rated #1 in the country, but of course, being the national lampoonslike family we are, we came during red tide. The beach was a raunchy fish graveyard, although we did find a lot of whole sanddollars of which i might make necklaces of later if anyone wants me to. On the third day of the Stout vacation, we had an early start off to Busch Gardens where we stayed for two days. On the first day of Busch Gardens my mom went all Irish on this hispanic family that had cut in line for the river raft ride and i feared for all of our lives but alas, we survived the mishap. My mother is such a power house sometimes (yay fighting irishpeople). The second day i was particularly depressed being that my boyfriend had broken up with me and i was feeling less than adequate. Note to guys: if you are going to break up with your girl, at least wait until she's back from vacation, don't ruin it for her, thanks. The last day, and might i say the most relaxing despite the reminders that i was alone from my sister and Rex (although they did not do it intentionally, i understand it's not their fault entirely, but it still hurt). Wacullah Springs is such a relaxing place, the water is cold, the fish are docile, and the feeling of being in something so clean, blue and majestic soothes the soul. Anyone up for going there sometime? The week of vacationing ended with a long phone conversation with my boyfriend and I and apparently, we are going to try to work things out.

This week, Sarah came into town with her gf Emily. It was really nice to see Sarah again and catch up on times, not to mention people i havn't seen in forever (Jackie Kuon and Lorna Dailey!!!). We went to lunch at Steak and Shake, then went out to Waterford and into Best Buy, the best store ever! But mostly, we talked and caught up, it was great hearing what everyone has been up to and how they feel, oh how i love listening to people's stories, especially them, the people i can feel like myself around there are not many people i do that around anymore and i guess sometimes i lose what that feels like. I guess i still miss being part of that gang :(. Then i drove Sarah and Emily to Satellite Beach to her sister Carmen's. I'll miss you guys! thanks for a fun time and i promise one of these days i am going to freaking Nebraska.

Yesterday was "launch day". 25,000 people were in the park, compared to our usual couple thousand, it was pretty overwhelming. Our system crashed about a million times yesterday because we had new cameras for that day and they overloaded the system. So on top of being dissapointed because the launch did NOT happen, the guests were pissed off because they didn't get their souvenieer(sp?) to commemorate this experience (bah). I didn't have it THAT bad, even if i was dealing with angry customers all day, Ryan, William, James, Cassandra, and Kentay (although this kid would probably not care to be out there because he's just nuts and likes selling pictures for some reason) were out in the hot sun from seven until close roving (although Cassandra left early) and taking pictures of people who DIDN'T want pictures taken. Kudos to you guys, i couldn't have done it. However, as the sun died and the day wore out to night, our job got pretty fun and everyone was a joy to work with, i think i am in love with the people at Kodak now <3. Last night was a well-needed karaoke experience with my lovely friends that i love Justin, Katie, Aubrey, and Trisha(although they had to leave shortly after i arrived). Oh the songs we sang, i love karaoke so very much i think i have developed an addiction to it...oh no! i'm a karaoke whore!!

Well, to those i havn't been in contact with for a long while, i miss and love you and we should definantly change the whole not being in contact thing, it sucks and doesn't make for good times. I hope you all have had a wonderfuly splendid week.

<3,
Alex
