Girls just wanna have fun

No, I seriously have no shame in using a cliche song title to describe tonight's experiences. So bite me.

Tonight was the most fun I've had in a long time. Rather than go shopping by myself after work, I decided to hang out with one of my friend's and fellow co-workers, Markie. We went to a movie, went to Mill Ave (for you non-Arizonians, it's where the college campus is located. Lots of action on a Friday night!), went to Bass Pro Shop, and managed to get very very lost in the ghetto. Come to think of it, why do you always get lost in the ghetto? I've never heard anyone complain of being lost in some fancy rich white neighborhood. We made a huge circle around the valley- and I'm pretty sure I've never made so many u-turns in one night. She ran a red light, we saw cops on horses, and we took pictures while driving. I've been to parts of AZ I'm pretty sure I had never been to previously.

It made me realize how much fun being young can be. We're going back to Mill Ave tomorrow night to do some partying. Tonight I was in my work uniform: baggy (REALLY baggy) jeans, an oversized Sportsman's tee, no makeup, and my hair pulled back. We sort of looked like lesbians on a date, and I definitely would have been the bull. Not so flattering.

To any other AZ ladies reading this, I would definitely like to become more social. Once David and I get married, I have a feeling we will have way less time for socializing. Let's live it up now?

I hope this entry made sense. I am pooped.

C.
