Here's a story I forgot to post last week, so thanks to Beth I've now been reminded, so this one's for you....
Last weekend Hayley and I went to Toronto for a fundraiser to support research and therapy for pediactric oncology. It was overall a fairly well organized event at the 4-seasons hotel in Toronto. This happens to be the same hotel where many of the movie stars involved in the film festival were staying.
With every film festival, and every celebrtiy comes a small group of fans and paparazi. So naturally, outside the hotel there was a hustel and bustel of people waiting to see the stars drive out of the hotel.
Hayley and I were in her car (a cute sporty little white convertible with the top down). We decided to have some fun taking pictures of us inside the car infront of the mob. It was hillarious and we were having a good time, but things got even funnier when our "fans" turned on us and started making fun of our loserish-ness.
They were saying things to us like "Wow! I loved you in that movie" or "can I have YOUR autograph?" They did however tell us that despite the fact that none of them had seen any real stars they were almost just as excited to have seen us.
