A long absence ...

So I know, quite a while ago, I said I would no longer be using this journal. I'm still not sure about whether I want to resume using it, 'cause I have another blog that I write in fairly frequently (though obviously not often enough). But I thought it might be a good idea to reassure anyone who I'm only connected to on here that I'm not dead.

For anyone who hasn't spoken to me since last September, when I stopped using this journal, here's a semi-brief breakdown of what's going on with me these days:
  • Started dating Ty ( bluemini ) in October.
  • Semi-moved in with Ty in his apartment in December; moved in completely in April.
  • Finished out Fall and Winter quarters at Western, then transferred to Whatcom.
  • Decided to do Graphic Design and Web Design at Whatcom (will begin program in the fall).
  • Ty and I bought a wonderful condo in Bellingham, which we moved into on June 2nd.
  • Turned 20 on May 23rd!
  • Finished Spring quarter at Whatcom a couple weeks ago, with an A and A- in my two classes.
  • Summer quarter began yesterday, and I'm taking 2D Design & Color and Intro to Graphic Design.
  • We just got two cute tabby kittens, named Cosmo and Orion!
For those who have no idea who Ty is and automatically have the "WTF you're already living with this guy and I've never even heard of him before?!" response, rest assured ... he's a great guy.  He's 24 and is a software engineer/developer at Attachmate, and he's damn good at what he does.  We met in June 2006, and quite frankly, he drove me up the wall for the entire summer, but finally won me over, obviously.  Basically, I could never imagine myself being more compatible with anyone, ever.  We're incredibly good together.  We can be total dorks and geeks together, and he's incredibly smart (amazes me every day).  He doesn't play WoW or any of those kinds of games (thank goodness!), and he's always full of ideas of things he'd like to learn or create, like an operating system.

I guess it's safe to say that life is going well, for me, and I'm much, much happier and at peace with myself than I was a year or so ago.
