whoever said there was nothing to do in marin....was lyeing, well sort of
So yesterday after dyeing my hair, I got a call from Chip, who told me that Nick and Jono had come by with a small BBQ that they had found down at the school, and that they were having a 'tail-gate party' in his backyard. So after getting gas, and chatting it up with Kelli for a while, I headed over to Chips, and hung out with them while they started to cook their steaks on the tiny grill. We listened to the Doobey Brothers, and Christine, Katie, TJ and Zack came over. After cooking and hanging out for a while, we began to develope a list that we would try to complete that night, it went something like this (translated from Jono's arm)
1. Tip a portopottie
2. Buy condoms naked
3. Glue cones to the street
4. Hug a homeless person
5. Steal a strangers shoe
There were quite a few more, I just cant remember what they were...
So the night continues as we go down to 7-11, TJ and Jono strip down, and walk in, with just their jackets on, holding hands, and buy large condoms from a very shocked employee. They walk back out, then try to sell them to a bunch of kids hanging out in a car "Hey do you guys want to buy these for 4 bucks?" "Umm no" "OK, how about 5?
So after taking Katie home, we decide that the next order of business is to adhessive cones to the street, and try and block off a road. So on our way out of 7-11 Tyler tips over the portopotties, so conveintly placed there, and we go to landsdale station, where the boys proceed to block off forest, while Christine and I put the condoms over the fence poles. After the sighting of a cop, we dash over to Memorial, and the boys start playing with a shopping cart, and making a huge racket playing with a fake, plastic sword. Of course 3 cops roll up, noise complaints I think, and also they have nothing better to do, and they think that the sword is real, so they kind freak out, and we decide to leave. I drop off my car, and we proceed to Dennys, where a huge mess is made of creamers, tomatoes on the ceiling and a general mess or salt and pepper everywhere. After Dennys, Christine and Zack head home, and I go to meet Nick, Jono and Tyler with Chip and Jammie. We hung out in the safeway parking lot from about 3 or 4am till 6, when starbucks opened. We all spooned in the back of Nicks truck which was fun, Jono and I passed smoke back and forth ;) and we all cuddled in sleeping bags. Then went and got coffee, played with the sword some more, and went back to Chips house and grilled marshmellows and a pokemon.
Around 7am we started to watch Gothika, but I passed out, since I was running on no sleep, too much hot chocolate, and sugary candy from 7-11. Just before 10 I woke up, drove home completely delirious and passed out again. Sometimes really boring things arent boring if you keep the right company. Last night was soo much fun, but only because the people I was with made it fun. Imature fun can sometimes really be needed.
