What is currently pissing me off

Ok so let me just say it flat out. The responses to Billy's women president thing pissed me off because they show how shallow and stupid guys really are...except Singewalds. Like seriously who do guys think they are? Sample responses:
*"if we had a woman president, she'd have to be hot"
*"shopping would be the national pasttime and our country would go into debt."
*women have no sense of military strategy (oh I guess that's why there's women at military school...)
Come on, guys. Yeah girls love to shop. Yeah they like to look cute. But for God's sake does that mean we are any less competent than guys. I can see that politics isn't for everyone and I am certainly not saying that I would EVER want to or be able to run our country. But there are women out there who do have opinions on the issues and do want to make a difference and can netgotiate wiht other countries. For example: I think that Jennifer Limbach would make a fabulous politician. She is so well spoken, informed on what's happening today, very intelligent, able to debate and prove almost any point.
Believe me, I am NOT in any way some kind of crazy-insane-"women-will-rule-the-world" feminist cuz you all know that I am a girly-girl. But seriously, is that all that guys think of girls - that if they're not hot, they're not worth anything or that all they care about is if they chip a nail? Well no wonder women couldn't vote in our country for hundreds of years becuase alot of men have this 'we are superior to you' attitude.
All I am saying is that I feel slightly like that's all guys think of girls as - something pretty to look at and someone to do the housework. Please someone tell me that's not how guys really think because I'm pretty sure that every guy's response had some form of "she'd have to be hot if we had a woman president".
If along came a woman who was intelligent, resourceful, levelheaded, and had a plan to help our country, I would give her a shot. There's been a lot of really good men presidents. There's been some not so great men presidents. Maybe women should have a chance. I also agree with one response about having a black president. Why not? I think that a effective leader would be competent no matter their race, gender, or ethnicity. In other countries, women have served as very effective leaders: prime ministers, queens, etc. You will never know if women will make good presidents until we actually have one.
Then who will be making jokes?
