WICKED! ~*~Defy Gravity~*~
Wicked!!!! Ok i admit it - it wasn't as good as the one in New York, but that was BROADWAY! This version was still really good tho! I think I just fell in love with a couple of the songs at this performance even though I'd liked/loved them before sometimes you just hear/see things in a new light and you're like wow this is cool. I didn't cry like last time...but I started crying a little at the end when Glinda in the finale starts singing For Good again..."who can say if I've been changed for the better but because I knew you, I have been changed for good". And dang was I excited when Glinda's bubble floated out for the first time! It's the coolest bubble EVER and there's little bubbles being blown around it. I WANT A BUBBLE. haha that sounds like that girl from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory...."Daddy! I want a magic bubble!" hahah Anyways I love this musical. The hair toss part wasn't fully in there which was slightly upsetting. But omg the power at the end of Defying Gravity - love it every time i hear it! And As Long As You're Mine and No Good Deed. And I'm Not that Girl. Ok so I love practically all the music. shut up.
Just being in Chicago was fun too. I love big cities. I want to live in one. We ate lunch at Giordano's and had fabulous Chicago deep dish pizza. Then went to walgreen's and bought gum. Also just walked around outside and enjoyed the hustle and bustle of the city. Riding the train was fun too....after we had to run to catch it!!! haha that was...fun...but we made it. whew! I hadn't been on a train in a really long time and we sat on the upper level on the way there which was kinda cool. It was weird being in Kenosha again (train station was there) I still knew my way around and remembered stuff but it was crazy sitting with Brook East kids and passing Bradford going "That's where I would've went to high school guys" and realizing that if I had gone to Bradford I would have never met any of them or have been on my way to WICKED and everything about my life in B'field wouldn't exist. CRAZY!
ugh tomorrow is swimming early and then link crew training. woohoo. i feel like I've missed a lot of swimming which isn't good but i can't help it cuz a lot of things conflict. oh well. I will go to practicenow that trips/vacations are mostly over for the summer. And then after the link crew thing I hopefully get to go play with colleeny's puppies!!! so exciting!
Not really much to write here except about Chicago. I decided to make an actual writing entry cuz i like to and lately I've just been posting random quiz results cuz I'm bored. well yay for writing.

Monday: Elizabeth Crane because she has awesome music that cheered me up
Tuesday: Cindy guo because we rock at stuffing bikes into car trunks
