Six Flags!
OMG Six Flags was awesome today! I went with Colleeny cuz I bought her the ticket for her birthday. We are hot and sexy. That was the conclusion reached today. But I love love love roller coasters and haven't been on one in forever! We went on Batman right away when the park opened and there was no wait. Our official seats are in the fifth row. That was the funnest way to wake up ever! The park wasn't very crowded cuz it was kinda sprinkling/raining but that's ok cuz I didn't mind getting wet, even tho it was too cold to go to the new waterpark. Then we went on Raging Bull and I totally remembered why I love that ride. The first drop is crazy!
Moving on to fun stories of the day.
Deja Vu: Well it's NEVER open when I go to six flags and we walk by and I'm like WHAT? IT'S OPEN? so of course we got in line cuz the line was actually not long at all. Then all of a sudden all these people started leaving the line and we heard that it was closed until the rain stopped cuz it operates on some cable system thing that could slip. So colleeny and I were like well it can't rain that long so we'll just wait. Us and like 10 other people waited for awhile. We met Bradley - he was the ride operator guy. He wouldn't give us FastPasses or anything to make up for the ride being closed. We made up a song too. It goes like this (to the tune of the Oscar Mayer Bologna song):
There's a ride at six flags
it's name is deja vu
It is never open
So we say F*** you
I don't want to wait in line all day
and if you ask me why I'll sayyyyy
Cuz we have been waiting too long
for me to sit and sing this song
So then we went and rode other roller coasters. We got in line for superman and there were French people in front of us and so it was fun to try and see if i could understand any of it. We got on the ride, were all strapped in with the shoulder thing locked, when all of a sudden the shoulder things popped back up and the lady was like "you guys are gonna hate me" and I was like OH NO! Yes...they closed it temporarily because of the rain. We went back to wait because we were so close and there was no way we were leaving. It was actually a fun wait tho. There was this group of hot guys waiting too and two hyper girls behind us and, best of all, fun staff people. There was this shy but cute guy named Shawn who was a ride operator and looked about our age, maybe a year older, and we were talking to him. We wanted him to dance to entertain us but he was too shy and refused. So then this guy named Mike came over and kinda sorta attempted to dance. It was fun cuz the whole crowd was clapping and chanting their names to get them to dance. It was very entertaining and quite a way to meet new people. Colleeny and I also changed lyrics of songs around to fit the situation. My favorite was Broken because it was an unintentional pun which I completely didn't realize when I jokingly said we could do our dance to Broken for entertainment. finally a phone rang which meant that the park operation dept called to let them know they could start us the ride again. And it was tres fun.
Then we went back to deja vu because it had stopped raining and it was definitely open again. We waited even tho it was a lil longer line this time. Once again there were cute guys in line. :0) And it didn't close again so I actually got to ride Deja Vu for the first time ever. WOOHOO! It was awesome! and we saw Bradley again. He was like "so you finally got on?"
Then we played a game thing and won a stuffed animal (taz) and immediately after that this cute guy walks up and was like "Do you want this?" (this being a big stuffed dog) He didn't want to carry it around anymore so he just gave it to us. Which was kinda cool. We never found out his name so we named him Sam the Mystery Man cuz he looked like a Sam and the Dog was named Shawn after the Superman ride operator.
