Well, I talked with Unohana-taichou for a little while, and then I found out my friends had planned a surprise for me and brought me sooo many flowers. It was really nice of them.

Oh, just the usual sort a vice-captain has to do. You know, all the things you shouldn't bother a captain with unless it's important, like training squads and routine patrols.

Yep! I am a vice-captain, after all. It's a lot of responsibility, but I love it most of the time, so it doesn't seem troublesome to me.

Well, besides paperwork, we have responsibilities like making sure everyone in the division is okay, and ready to go, talking with the other vice-captains to make sure we keep up on what's happening in other divisions, making sure everything runs smoothly while the captain is gone... things like that.

Hmmm. I really like being a vice-captain, being useful, helping my division be a really good division... and I certainly like all that better than paperwork! So I suppose you could say I do, yes.
