Cooking in a slow cooker doesn't consider as a real cooking. You just put everything in and pressed the button.

What? It isn't true. :) You still have to sear the meat first in a pan, mix and add spices to rub on the meat, peel and cut the vegetables, prepare the sauce. It is cooking. :)

It looks incredibly delicious! I finish my lunch now (not a vegetarian dinner I must say), but I would have eaten the steak with a big appetite)

I hope it's delicious. This is the first time I tried this recipe. Next weekend, we will go apple picking. I will write a post about a good apple dessert I prepare with the apples. :)

The crumble apple pie is the best apple dessert, I think.

Agree! I like it much better than the traditional crust because it has more cinnamon and a lot of brown sugar in the crumb topping. I like brown sugar more than white. Do you know the term '"cobbler"? This is a popular fruit dessert in the U.S. It's like a pie, but the crust is only on the top, nothing on the bottom.

I don't like beef very much. I mostly eat chicken. I like to eat, but this is a huge piece of beef! I think impossible for one person to consume.

I made a German chocolate cake for breakfast (it was mix from a box, so not "real cooking"). Wanna do a potluck?

Oh, cake for breakfast! :)) Pot luck would be good, but you live in NY right?

Im surprised, how good the meat looks, despite the slow cooker (hello there, NSA, who's monitoring system I just triggered :). Im kinda grill person, which didnt stop me from baking salmon last night, though :)

And I only had coffee and silly breakfast sammich from Wawa this morning, on my way to the Pope's detail :(

Wawa has such a huge selection of prepared foods and most have full delis! We only have a few in our area. Sheetz is more popular. Did you get to see the Pope, or were the crowds too large?

Nah, I was at one of the suburban stations, opened for pilgrims. Im with the Fire Police, so we were supoosed to control traffic and crowd among with our local CERT. Boy it was a bust. Less than fifth of anticipated pilgrims came. Which is good for us. It was very quiet and rather boring :)

As of Wawa, their business doctrine changed not so long ago, so they are expanding quickly. Hopefully more will come to your area.

We had big crowds in DC, but I got two days off of work because all the primary roads were closed. :) What is the Fire Police? Is it the same as a fireman? Is it volunteer or a paid job?
