love and marriage... goes together like a horse and carriage
So I'm getting married! Most of you already know that though. What many of you don't know is that we've changed our plans and are getting married is 6 weeks and 5 days. That's right.... 6 WEEKS AND 5 DAYS!
See, my Dad gave me two options recently:
-he could pay for my wedding
or
-he could put money towards a house for Chris and I
I bet you can't guess which one we chose.
Now it doesn't matter what day of the week that we get married since we're going to do a courthouse thing. So as of October 6, 2008 [our 4-year anniversary] I will be Mrs. Johnson.
I'm excited and a little nervous. I think that the only thing that I am nervous about though is the fact that I will be changing my name. It's just weird to me, I have had my last name for my entire life, and now it's going to change. It's not going to stop me from marrying Chris, but it's still a little weird to me.
I am really happy though. I love Chris with all of my heart and have absolutely no doubt that he is the person that I want to spend the rest of my life with.
