Chapter 2

“Well that’s not the case!” Jin retorted, as Kame laughed at him. “Would you stop laughing?” He was pouting but it didn’t help Kame stop laughing. It just made it worse.

It has been a long time since Kame made fun of him. Lately, Jin was a laid-back, dumb guy but now he changed all of the sudden out of nowhere. Jin started to get serious about school and he wasn’t acting dumb as much as before.

“What’s wrong, Kame?” Jin asked why his friend had stopped laughing all of the sudden.

Kame shook his head. “Nothing, I’ve been thinking some stuff. Jin didn’t ask anymore questions. A few minutes later, a familiar café was coming into view and Kame knew that Jin would go to Sakura Café like always.

“Like always,” Kame sighed and shoved his hands in his pockets. “I still wonder how or why you like that café so much.” He wondered, knowing that Jin wouldn’t give him an answer.

Jin likes to keep secrets to himself and this includes Sakura Café, on why he likes going there so much. “I’ll tell you someday…” He said, glancing at Kame.

“You’ll never tell me,” Kame scoffs and crosses his arms. “Unfair.” It had started two years ago, Jin somehow found the Sakura Café and started to come there everyday, 24/7, alone. Jin sometimes will bring company if he wanted to company but most of the time; he just likes to be alone so he can be drinking his beloved cappuccino all alone. “Have fun in the café, Jin…”

Jin nodded and he made his to the café. As soon as he entered, the atmosphere of the café, it was somehow different but the maids greeted him like always. He walked to his regular table, by the window, so he can look outside.

A second later, he heard an ear piercing scream behind the employee door. The maids had ignored it and continued serving their customers.

“I HATE YOU. ALL OF YOU!” A voice yelled.

Jin looked at the source of yelling. It was silent for a few minutes then…

“Argh! YOU ARE TRYING TO RUIN ME! I KNOW YOU ARE!”

“Ow! Why the hell are you hitting me?!”

Jin raised an eyebrow. Those voices almost sounded like…

“Ryo, stop teasing Ueda!” Another voice scolded.

Ueda? Ueda Tatsuya was here? What the hell? Jin frowned. He was now paying attention at the noise. Then the employee only door, slammed opened and someone had fallen to the ground. It was girl with long curly black hair with a ribbon hairpin on her bangs. She was wearing the Sakura Café maid outfit and Jin couldn’t help but blush.

She… seemed cute.

Then a guy appeared, behind her and helped her up. “Haha,” The man laughed nervously. “Sorry about that Takumi.”

Takumi glared at the man who helped her up. “Shut up, Uchi.” She brushed herself off and sighed. Then another came in, and Jin recognize him as the manager of Sakura Café.

“Hehe,” Subaru gave Takumi a tray. “You’ll start working today, Taku-chan~”

The girl glared at the manager, if looks could kill. She stalked away from the manager and headed to kitchen.

“Well, I’ll leave Ue- Takumi in good hands!” Another man came out from the employee door. Jin knew him as Nishikido Ryo; the short tempered that really needed to go to anger management. The only one who controlled his temper was Ueda Tatsuya, who beat him up and lectured him. The next few minutes, they became best friend, which was totally weird to Jin. Those two always hated each other but all of the sudden, Tatsuya beats him up and they become best friends?

Jin had considered it a weird friendship.

All could Ueda think how much Ryo hate him so much. Is this how he’s going to torture him?! He remembered when Ryo confessed his feelings for him and Ueda, being a nice man... rejected him. Well, more like being a jerk wad and rejected Ryo's feelings for him.

He shook his head. They were best friends but there was no way he was going to have a relationship with man he used to hate.

Ueda sighed. It was way too much troublesome and besides, he does not do relationships. Sure, he plays around with the girls
(sometimes guys), tease them, bed with them, but will never be in a serious relationship. It was too much of a hassle.

“Aw~ Tat-chan looks so cute~” Ryo cooed, as he pinches his cheeks.

Tatsuya let out an ear piercing scream. “I HATE YOU! ALL OF YOU!” He pointed at Subaru and Ryo. “Not you, Uchi, your too kind too even tease me in this outfit,”

In Uchi’s head, he interpreted Ueda’s words, ‘Not you Uchi, you’re too much of a wimp to even tease me in this outfit because I will beat you up!’ Uchi smiled at Ueda and said nothing.

“Damn, you sure have girly scream~” Ryo muttered, rubbing his ear.

Subaru shook his head. “I love you too, Ueda, but damn, I never thought a person like you, would actually look hot in that outfit!” He covered his nose, knowing that blood will come out. His face did not want to meet Ueda’s fist again.

Ueda looked at Subaru in disgust. “You pervert!” He hissed.

“I am not!”

“Yes you are!”

“Am not!”

“Yes!”

“No!”

“Yes!”

“No!”

“No!”

“Yes!” Subaru realized what he had said, and paled within seconds. “I mean no! God, I hate you Ueda!” With those words said, his face met Ueda’s fist, eventually and he was knocked against the wall.

Ueda checked himself out in the mirror, and god, he really did look like a girl. Maybe God, made a mistake giving him manhood. He blushed. He looked hot and sexy!

“Wow, imagine the guys at school…” Ryo piped up. “They’d be hitting on our poor little Tat-chan!”

“Argh! YOU ARE TRYING TO RUIN ME! I KNOW YOU ARE!” Ueda yelled, jumping on Ryo and beating him up.

“Ow! Why the hell are you hitting me! Stop it, you beast!” Of course, those words said, Ueda started hitting Ryo more and rougher. Any time soon, Nishikido would have a concussion.

Uchi pulled Ueda away from his beloved. “Ryo, stop teasing Ueda!” He scolded his boyfriend.

Ryo looked shocked by that statement. “What the hell Uchi?! He was the one who was hitting me all violently and shit!”

“Yeah, but you deserved it!” Ryo was surprised his boyfriend was defending his best friend.

Behind Uchi, Ryo saw Ueda smirked evilly and flipped him off. He mouthed, ‘I win!’

Ueda was walking out the door, trying hard not to trip on the super high heels, but Uchi’s leg was sticking out -not on purpose- … -or was it?- and cross dresser fell, making the door slam opened.

Uchi gasped. He went out of the door, and helped Ueda up. “Haha, sorry about that Takumi~” He said nervously.

Takumi brushed herself off. Behind her, the manager of Sakura Café appeared and gave Takumi a tray.

“Hehe,” Subaru gave Takumi a tray. “You’ll start working today, Taku-chan~”

Takumi glared at the manager, took the tray and stalked off with an “hmph!” and headed to the kitchen area.

“Well, I’ll leave Ue- Takumi in good hands!” Ryo said, coming out from the employee room. He grinned and Subaru instantly knew that there was a reason why he had done this to Ueda. Subaru knows Ryo well, enough to know that Ryo can never, ever win bets. How can the almighty Ueda Tatsuya lose to Nishikido Ryo to a bet?!

“Later Ryo, Uchi.” Subaru said as his two friends left the store. Ryo put his arms around Uchi. When they were out of the café,

“You think his plan will work?” Uchi asked, frowning.

Ryo shrugged. “I’m only doing whatever he’s saying to me. Besides, he’s the one that gave me a technique to win over Ueda in poker!” He grinned, ear to ear.

Uchi was in deep thought. “Ryo-chan, don’t you notice that they don’t even talk at school?” That question startled his boyfriend. “He says that he knows Ueda better than us, I believe him, but, how come Ueda doesn’t even bother to say hi to him.”

The other man shrugged once again. “I don’t know, but maybe something in the past but whatever. At least its helping them both right?”

“Right.” Uchi didn’t look convinced. He was determined to find out why.

Jin watched as the new maid girl served drinks to the other customers. He got a feeling that he saw this girl before, but where? Those god damn legs are so long and so pretty. Those lips, he wonders how it feels on his lips, kissing those--

OH GOD. Was he just fantasizing about the new maid girl! He almost spit out the coffee in his mouth but swallows before doing so.

“Wow, this is must be the shortest bet I had ever won.” A familiar voice said.

Jin looked up and he was startled. Kamenashi was sitting in front of him. How does he do that?!

“What the… Kame what are you doing here?!”

“Well, I was shopping for clothes.” Kame points at the bags he’s holding. Jin looked inside, and indeed he was shopping. “I wanted to see if you were still here and you were. Once I saw you, you were drooling on that girl.” His eyes squinted, amusement in his eyes. Jin could tell Kame was enjoying this. "This has been proven that you're bi-sexual and I win this bet!"

“I… I…”

“Ah lost for words I see. Poor Jin, you know you should not have bet against me.”

“Sh-Shut up! You must’ve set this up or something!”

“What? Never, I play fair.”

“Liar!” Jin folded his arms and pouted.

Kamenashi laughed. He has no idea how much his life would change. “I want to make another bet.” He grinned ear-to-ear. “Don’t worry its nothing harmful. All you have to do is woo the new maid girl."

“Would you like some more coffee?” Ueda said, cutely, smiling at his customer.

Jin opened his mouth to say something but nothing came out. Then his mouth started to move up and down like a fish, breathing under water. Kame had a big grin on his face, as if, he’s saying ‘I’m-going-to-win-this-in-6-seconds!’.

Then in a split second, Jin break for it and rushed out of the Sakura Café as fast as he can and how far his legs can take him. Ueda stared at the empty seat before him, dumbfounded.
