Summary: When Ueda was assigned into another band, it caused hectic changes within KAT-TUN and thus with a heartbreak. His relationship is getting messed up with his boyfriend and in the end, he has to choose between KAT-TUN or his new band Calm Envy. Either way, there is no happy ending.

Chapter 4
Yamashita was really into my story.
My life from two years ago and it was full of drama and heart breaks.
“YamaPi, why the hell am I telling you this?” I asked. I had a feeling that Yamashita knew by now. “When was the last time you talked to him?”
Yamashita shifted uncomfortably. “Since two years ago…”
“Liar, you were with him in Music Station!” I yelled. “WHAT DID HE TELL YOU?”
“Actually… I wasn’t able to talk to him.” Yamapi frowned and scratched his hair. “He was busy…”
I raised my eyebrow. There was most to it. I know there was! “Define ‘busy’.”
Yamashita cleared his throat and leaned back. “Akanishi, don’t lie to me and I am your best friend. I know you still love him.” He was being serious… for once. “I don’t think it’s the best for me to say it.”
I narrowed my eyes and gave up a minute a later. It was useless. Yamashita was hiding something and when he hides something, it ends up being a bad thing and he wouldn’t even tell me.
“Whatever.”
“He did choose him over you a million times, Akanishi.” He whispered to himself, slightly loud enough for me to hear.
My hearts cracked into pieces.

Those lines
Those words were like a chant into my head.
Why are you doing this to me, Tat-chan?
What is this relationship you have with Kame?
I looked up and ARASHI were giving me a pity look. Ueda walk past me, shrugging me off and left
As if I was a stray dog on the streets.
I gulped. My head was spinning. I was thinking too much. What’s going to happen to Tat-chan and I now?
“Jin… I… I’m sorry for locking you in the closet.” Jun came up slowly to me, apologizing.
“No… no, it’s okay…” I assured him. “It was fate… probably.”
The next day was unfortunate. Ueda didn’t show up for rehearsals. I guess that he’s with his other band.
“Ah, Kamenashi-san, Ueda-san is sick.” Manager-san said. “I want you to go to his house and teach him the dance lessons today.”
“Hai!”
Koki and Maru snickered. For some reason I have a feeling that they know more than they let on. As for Junno I think he’s in the same league with Koki and Maru.
Junno was frowning… FOR ONCE!
Was there going something going on between Tat-chan and Kame when I was gone… or was it before Tat-chan and I got together?
After rehearsals, everybody was tired except for Kame. He immediately left the building and went straight to Tat-chan’s house.
“Hey… is there something going on between Kame and Tat-chan?” I asked, hoping to get an answer from my band mates.
Koki and Junno immediately became quiet. Maru looked up from his book. “Is there going on between Kame and Tat-chan?”
I looked at the oldest member weirdly. “Is there going on between them?”
Maru shrugged. “I don’t know. You tell me.”
I glared at Maru then to the other two. Koki and Junno shook their heads and shrugged.
“You guys know don’t you?” I rattled on. I wanted the truth now.
“It’s not our place to say it.” Maru replied. “It was a bad beginning.” Then he went back to his reading.
I clenched my fist and left the room. It was pointless asking the three of them.
The next day was EVEN more unfortunate. Ueda felt good and came back to rehearsals.
But the scene before me was threatening. Kame and Ueda laughing.
Why?
I have no idea!
AND I HAVE NO INTENTION ON FINDING OUT WHY!
I was losing hope. My relationship with Ueda is fading.
Fading back to the darkness once before.
Before I knew it I was overwhelmed with warmth and tingly feeling of love.
“Jin, I love you.”
“I love you too Tat-chan.”
Present
“And that was the last time he said that to me.” I said, slowly. “Two years ago. Our relationship started to fade.”
I stared at out the window, gazing at the brightest star.
See that Tat-chan?
You see that?
I wish… that our relationship hadn’t fade to darkness but twinkle even in the darkest place on earth.
“Jin, are you crying?”
Jin shook his head. “No… No… there was something in my eye.”
Most tears came out.
Yamapi came and hugged me tightly. “Jin…”
“I still love him even now Yamapi. Even now.” I grasped Yamapi’s coat tightly as I cried more.

“Oh yeah, I’ve been wanting to know. Was there ever going on between you and Nishikido?” He asked.
I chuckled. “We… were just friends. Just friends Maru. I could even say my best friend.”
Working with Calm Envy is fun but at the same time, I miss KAT-TUN.
Masa∞ cleared his throat to get his band mates attention. “Okay we’re going to have a couple of photo shoots and interviews. It’s going to be long and busy schedule.”
