(no subject)
So here I am, getting ready to go to Warped Tour yet again. It's been better every single time I've went, but this year it's at the Shoreline instead of Piers 30 and 32. Also, I'll be flying solo this year since Josh, Jaclyn, and AJ aren't going this year. At first that worries me a little since I don't know what it will be like going to a show without anyone I know. However, that also means I can do things at my own pace this year. Doors (does the Shoreline even have doors?) open at 11:00, but I plan on waking up at around 8:30 and driving down there to get in line early. Every time I've gone to Warped Tour before we've always shown up an hour or so after the bands began to play. Missed most of a pretty awesome set from Against Me! last year, and I wouldn't want something like that to happen this year as well.
Bands I hope to see:
-Bad Religion: I've only been really into these guys for the last few months, but I've liked their music for awhile.
-Big D and the Kids Table: A band I first heard while doing my weekly set on SSU's radio station. Ska will never die.
-Pennywise: Because it's Pennywise. Fuck Authority and such.
-The Matches: So that I can tell Seth later on how awesome The Matches are.
-The Used: GOT A BOX OF SHARP OBJECTS WHAT A BEAUTIFUL DAAYAYFDJKFBSAD! hahaha
-The Vandals
-Tiger Army: Stand-up base(bass?).
One main problem is that I'm really short on money. I should have enough gas to make it there and back, but money is going to be really tight since I haven't gotten a paycheck from Best Buy yet.
I'm sure everything will be fine.
