Puppies!

I like driving lately. Maybe it's the new car, idk, but the trip out there was nice. I listened to my iPod most of the time (When I wasn't pausing the track to sing on my own, LoL). Yay Scrubs soundtrack. Also, there was the Sirius Satellite radio which is fun. The comedy channels are awesome. And I passed a road on the way out there that was called 'Spatterdick.'

That made me LoL.

So this house was LITERALLY right on the Michigan/Indiana border. The street was called State Line Road, and one side was Michigan and the other was Indiana. It was an old barn converted into a house. Lots of room outside, though the house itself was pretty small. They moved into it so they had more room for the dogs, which I was impressed with. There were also goats, and I could see a couple horses.

Before today, I'd never seen a bull terrier in person.I've always thought they were adorable dogs, but up close...

They are a mass of friendly and muscle. Seriously, these dogs are built like /gods,/ idk. I felt like they could crush me. But they were also incredibly gentle, and really just wanted to be all over me so I could give them as much attention as possible. There was one that I especially liked named Trinity, who sat on my lap the whole time. AND PUPPIES. There were actually a couple there, and I consider it a huge demonstration of willpower that I didn't take one home RIGHT THEN. All the dogs were very well-behaved in the house, and Jecht brought me his Kong to show me how awesome it was, as Trinity tried to steal the Stitch keychain from my purse.

If you've ever seen a bull terrier puppy, know this: They are much cuter in person. THEIR FACES. Also, they all give kisses.

I do have some issues. Namely, they weren't specifically tested for hips and elbow problems, though there's no history of these problems ANYWHERE in the breed history, and I did look this up before I went. They were correct. I'm trying to decide if this really is something I have to worry about. They are very up front about animals that do end up having something wrong with them. They have a young adult that they wouldn't place because of an ankle issue. It's not a bone deficiency, apparently, but a ligament thing that disqualifies them in the show ring. I want to look this up as well, to see if this is common, or something I have to worry about, etc. There are other things I need to think on before I decide if I'd get a puppy from this place.

Also, Moya.

And now I'm going to bed.
