silliness

My bicycle is back in motion, while I pedal it, of course, YOU SILLY! I don't like it when parents say that, "you silly," to their children. I think it's the sort of thing that seems natural to say when kids are being foolish and you don't know how to really understand them or respond to them. But I think it's not very necessary to point out their silliness, especially if its not hurting anyone. There can be such a broad range of silliness from a child that you wouldn't really no which behavior is really really extra silly or which is kind of silly, needs a little work, to know when it is approriate to say. I think just acknowledging it would be fine, then, possibly trying to "up" their silliness would be challenging and interactive. Fun for the whole family. It's not like you would ever point out something extraordinarily normal, like say, putting on your pull-up diaper, and add the response of, YOU ORDINARY!

I am going to willoughby this weekend. Maybe I will decorate some eggs. I will sure eat a lot of them when my family visits on Sunday for a feast. My aunt always makes these deviled eggs, and its not like they're really good, but they're just the one thing we have left over the most of so you're eating them for the next week because they take up so much room. Anyways, I am looking forward to it.
