Hail Storm
Yesterday late afternoon we had a hail storm pass through. I hadn't seen it hail as hard as it did for a long time. Dad went and checked our crops after the storm was over. The canola looks like it was heavily damaged and their is certainly damage to the flax. I haven't checked my garden yet but I'm sure it has damage too since it is just on the other side of the flax field. We do have hail insurance and just recently Dad upped the hail coverage on the canola so that is a blessing. Guess now we just have to wait and see what the insurance company decides.
