It is currently 40.6C and "feels like 43.4C"
Guess who is enjoying the air con at home? Ethan is dripping with sweat when it gets over 30C ... it would be bordering on negligent to have him out in this heat. There is no wind so it just hits you...
I had planned on going out and buying some swimmers for Ethan and I. I am going to see about starting swimming lessons for Ethan. But we'd have to walk to the bus or train...
We did go out on Thursday. We went to Southbank (the city) and had lunch. Ethan had so much fun running around. We got take away for lunch but the ibis stole my calzone. He wasn't too keen on the play equipment so we just ran after the birdies
I want to take him to the zoo too. He loves animals. I think we have a water park here too so that would be fun. It's going to be fun researching some low cost adventures. We've got plenty of parks here so there's always that as an option.
It's been good for my mental health as well. Going out means I am more likely to have a shower and get dressed. And that helps. Atm I tend to go out when Tim is at work. He prefers to stay home and relax after work so I'm respecting that. But there are a few fun things I want to do that I want Tim there too...like the zoo and swimming at SouthBank.
