So um... today was interesting. And by interesting, I guess I mean that I did basically nothing the whole day except work on getting my gaia commissions in some organized fashion, and then I went to kung fu.
LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT MY KUNG FU ESCAPADES.
Ok well first of all I was driving there, and I'd opened up my water bottle to get a quick swig at a stoplight, then had to place it down quickly (and open) when I went to turn left. I thought it was semi-secure, but nope! :D so it fell over right onto my purse, which resulted in just a little bit of swerving and cursing and being retarded at driving while I tried to make sure my cellphone and wallet were somewhat secure. So after that I basically made every possible driving mistake I could without actually doing anything disgusting, which means I did stuff like a) speed up when there was a cop car going in the other direction, b) drive over like EVERY BIT OF DEBRIS IN THE ROAD I MEAN REALLY.
sigh. So then I get there, like 3 minutes early, and everyone's taking up my favourite parking area so I park nearer the back, go in and everyone's like OMG ASSEMBLING in the tiny tiny classroom, which is a little bit iffy when it comes to space, but once the instructors come in (like three minutes later jeez everyone way to make me rush) so I was kind of like WHY DOES THE WORLD HATE ME OMGZ.
But then I felt a little better, because hey endorphines, even though the iron body workout was exceedingly silly. I did get to work with a new-ish girl who seems nice, which was awesome.
I also saw this dude that I'd worked with last weekend come in with this skinny blonde girl, and I was like "ugh another one with a girlfriend" although last week I had kind of been like "umm..." because I'd been wondering if the dude was gay, because it seemed like he kept getting distracted by watching the men. Anyway, when they were both walking out I had a better glimpse of his "girlfriend", who it turns out was quite possibly a man. I WIN.
No but seriously I am legitimately going to miss kung fu, and not just because of the insanity that is my completely unrequited and internalized crush on one of the guys there, I just really do like kung fu despite the fact that it freaks me out sometimes. It has seriously molded my personality, for one...and all the people there are just so awesome.
