I don't have anything else productive to write!

Things I learned in High School:

1. Friends are awesome and all, but generally speaking it's a good idea to be ok with spending a lot of time by yourself/ dealing with your own problems.

2. If you don't care about how others perceive you, you will give yourself a lot less grief.

3. People like having someone to talk to on their way to class.

4. Teachers can sometimes be sillier than their students, when they are in the mood (coffcoffdrcrumley).

5. Most teachers are huge dorks about their subject of choice and tend to get excited about things that they THINK other people would get excited about, but very few other people do (except fellow teachers).

6. If random people start talking to you, the best thing to do is to pretend you know who they are until the conversation ends. Because chances are you aren't gonna converse with them more than once in a long while, so it's ok if you really.. don't know who they are.

7. It's harder to keep up with friends who aren't in the same classes as you, but it's worth it.

8. It's hard to survive in a class when you have no friends, but you survive. You also get a chance to chat with other people.

9. If it's not specifically against the rules, chances are you're not gonna get in trouble although people might look at you weird (ex: eating up on the hill sophomore year).

um.. that's all I can think of. If anyone wants to add their own, either in comments or in their own lj entry, feel free. :D
