DIVIDE BY CUCUMBER ERROR.

So, last night was CRUNCH NIGHT, aka DINNER AT MY CHINESE TEACHER'S HOUSE with my AP Chinese class.

It was more fun than I'd expected. I mean, I was 10 minutes early (and the first one there) which was, oh, rather awkward, because I was being self-conscious about my horribility at chinese, but then other people arrived and I felt a little better because I wasn't the only person being beckoned to sit down, sit down, and also I wasn't the only one getting weird looks from her kids.

The food was damn good and I ate a LOT of it over a long amount of time, but oh my god hot pots. oh my god.

Conversation was actually pretty followable (we weren't allowed to speak in English) although I wasn't really able to talk ALL THAT MUCH. just a little bit to my teacher's mum about my visits to Taiwan and a little bit about my kung fu adventures to everyone because everyone was geting questioned about their sports, and I was like "well.... kung fu. Um. that's cool, right?" The amusing thing about kung fu, though, is probably that everyone seems to know something about it.

In kung fu news, apparently they've decided I've been to kung fu long enough to become a disciple. 5 years. Of course, I've only been for 4 years, so it's not exactly the same. Although beforehand, I was in the children's class for about 5 years. 10 years total. Crazy, isn't it?
Also I won the back arch competition yesterday, um, pretty cool, except now my back is VERY sore. o_@
