Shannon rocks my little boat. She rocks it hard.
She's sent out Advent Children to my deprived self, and it'll probably be here by the end of this week or the beginning of the next. It was going to be a surprise, but she had to tell me because I was being a dick.
We made up with some post-game Rude x Reno. I play Rude because he is a badass, and Shannon plays Reno so wonderfully.
In other good news, I will be home Thursday, some of Friday, the weekend, Monday, and Tuesday, because they're moving during those days and they want us out of the way. Fweeee!
Also, all my old pals came and met up with me today since I didn't see them on Saturday, and they were awesome. They're always awesome, but they were especially awesome today because I won't see them until December now. It's not that far away, though; I think it had already been three months since I saw two of them before this, so it'll probably go as quickly as that did.
They stayed the afternoon, did some foodly shopping with me, and then we had our (surprisingly tear-less) goodbyes in the car park. I told them to stop looking so bloody miserable, and that was that.
Sitting in that room, I realised how irritating our conversation must have been to onlookers. You stick around with people long enough, and you develop so many injokes that you can support a day of conversation saying absolutely nothing original. And that's fantastic.
Edit: Today is talk like a pirate day. For the benefit of Cornwall and Devon, I decree that today will also be talk like a cowboy day. Because we're sick of pirates. We're all pirates. We long for a village to pillage, but they're all full of other pirates.
So we'll be cowboy-speaky. Yee-haw.
