I’ve been very busy the last couple of days. I haven’t had much time to write or read, unfortunately. The pain I was suffering has made be fall behind in some things, and I am desperately trying to claw my way back out again.
My shoulder pain has diminished dramatically. :-D I am so pleased. I don’t know if it is the TENS machine helping or the physio/chiro or both. Whatever it is, I am feeling MUCH better. I have an appointment tonight. I am really happy that this pain is easing. I think that I might start to exercise gently if the pain is still gone next week. I am starting to feel enthusiastic again.
One great thing is that I didn’t have any seasonal depression this winter. I am thrilled. Last year was so hard on me in so many ways. This winter has been much better. I am much mroe relaxed and content. I purged a few not so good influences in my life, which has also helped.
Yesterday at work one of my French colleagues brought in some cheese from France. He brought in 6 different kinds, many of which I have never eaten before. I fell in love with the Morbier, which I will certainly buy when I go to France again.
I have two sets of Artists Trading Cards to finish up this evening. Actually, all I have to do is package them to get them ready to mail.
I also need to finish packing. I am more than half done with that.
I have three emails that I HAVE to get done.
Our house sitter is coming over this evening to pick up the keys. I feel great that we can have someone come over and stay with the cat and birds. She is pregnant though, so when we go to Italy I will not have her cleaning the cat litter box because of the risk of toxioplasmosis. We have secondary plans for then.
Tomorrow we leave for Dublin. I am taking the day off and I am sleeping in. I need this break and I can’t wait for it. We will be back on Sunday. It’s a short break, but in my opinion any break is a good break! LOL! I am taking my knitting and some ATCs to draw while I am there. I would like to do a bit of sketching and ink them in black and white ready to colour when I get home.
Guy the hedgehog is now back at Harper Asprey. He will be returned to the wild soon. The little guy isn’t so little anymore - he weighs 940 grams. :-) I will *really * miss him. I have photos and everything and I will post them later this evening. He is going to visit Brian May later this afternoon as Brian was asking after him.
I am so excited about going to Dublin. I cannot wait. One of the museums near our hotel has a late opening and depending on how quickly we get settled in our hotel room will determine if we go there to look around or not. I hope we can.
