As you know, I have been reading fluff seasonal Christmas mysteries and enjoying them. I guess I misunderstood the write-up on these when I downloaded them.

They were romances.

Typical short story romances.

Boy meets girl, girl meets boy. The man, woman or both don’t care for each other when they first meet but they keep on getting thrown together due to certain circumstances. The man, woman, or both finally start to fall for one another but they aren’t sure how the other one feels. Something happens and the man or woman is now certain that their beloved hates them. Something else happens and all is well and true love ensues. Hahaha weren't they stupid all along?

What makes the stories seasonal? Snow, gifts, trees and presents that include engagement rings and/or a Christmas dinner with the future inlaws.

There are some variations like in one book both a mother and father and son and daughter fall in love.

Eh, it’s time I can’t get back, but at least it was relaxing time...
