So. Pet Pros just called. I gave them an application and resume in, like, the second week of May as soon as I was settled at home. I guess none of their other applicants panned out, because the lady who called sounded really eager to get me to come in so she could "get to know my personality" and, I don't know, make sure I'm not a crazy antisocial whore. Or something. She said something along the lines of wanting employees to be willing to approach customers and directly offer their help, which I may not like, but I can do it, and I can suck up my misanthropy for a few months.
But. Anyway. I am gluing my fingers crossed for this one. I'm also calling my mother to inform her.
(In the meantime, I miss having loads of icons. And since the Strikethrough Fiasco seems to have cooled down to the point that no one's doing much thinking, maybe if I get hired I'll renew and buy the icon add-on, because I snagged a whole bunch of Mythbusters icons that I want to use so badly.)
(Also, I gave into temptation and rented two DVDs from the second season of House MD last night. And blitzed the first one between eleven and two in the morning. Whee.)
