Jerk It Out
It's funny when you remember that you're human.
I just took Angel on a walk, like we've been doing a lot lately.
I've been listening to that Caesars song, "Jerk It Out." Hmm, maybe I took it too literally because I may have jerked something out.
I started running with her, we weren't even across the train tracks yet, which are across the street from my house. She started barking at the tiny cute dogs at the cop's house. Yeah, she stopped running. I didn't. My legs went flying, I tried not to fall on her, but I ended up on the ground anyway. I walked just a bit more and came back inside. My ankle is quite swollen. So it's either twisted or I possibly broke something but that's doubtful. Sorta hurts, but the pain isn't really getting to me. Mostly I'm just kinda giggly.
My mom's telling me I need to slow down. Nah. The only thing I've learned from this is that:
It's easy once you know how it's done
You can't stop now
It's already begun
You feel it runnin' through your bones...
And you jerk it out.
