Last night at about 9:23 PM, my family and the Rollestons got our first glimpse of Hoang (you must be instruvted on pronounciation in person) at the airport! It's odd having a boy living here with us. And he's about the same height as mom, so, from my perspective: it's strange to have a short boy living with us. Who's about Andrew's age. But he's very friendly and his English is pretty good. This is gonna be one unusual school year.
Plus: This means he'll be at WC, people! and by then he will definitely feel like a brother, I'm sure, and it's gonna be awesome! I mean, there's only like, 6 months to go! How am I ever gonna live so long with this level of WC anticipation? Oh that's right...I'll be busy with SCHOOL. Honors Psych, Honors Soc, and French 3 this semester.
Oh, and the best news from a monetary stand-point:
I got a job!!! At the Penfield Public Library, where Ellyn works too. I am gonna be a page, just like her.
Better yet, this supply of income means:
1. I can go to the So You Think You Can Dance show at the Auditorium Theater if we can get tickets in time.
2. Celebratory Underwear shopping with Suz and Ellyn.
3. More shopping.
4. Jewelry.
5. SHOES.
6. b-day gifts and x-mas gifts for friends, family, and boyfriend.
7. Savings....Andrew's gonna help me not withdraw it all for shopping sprees.
So. To sum everything up: I love my life. I'm busy but Happy. My amazing skills of optimism and joy hold out in this world full of pessimists!
Oh yeah, and 15 months of couple-dom on the 25th. :-D
