PEAKATHON!!! TAP SHOES!!!!

Sep 12, 2005 20:45

OK, so Saturday afternoon all the people who have been watching twin peaks, and we finished the series! There were SOOOO many things left unexplained!!! It was crazy. GRRR> But yeah, it was strange. There were some creepy bits, but we managed to finish by like, 1:30-1:45 ish, or maybe it was two....i don't remember. And Shari fed us beautiful food, as always! Then after we were all finished with Twin Peaks, the kids who were sleeping over (Hannah and Gracie cuz it was their house, plus Eli, Emmalee, Bart, Andrew and me) watched internet videos and filled shot glasses with hot sauce and milk and anything else we found in the kitchen and then making people drink them (actually that was only Hannah, Gracie, Eli and Bart, but we were all theorizing about what should go in each drink), and we watched a little bit of the tape of last week's so you think you can dance show. omg, the hip-hop routine Destini and Jamile did was AMAZING. FREAKING AMAZING. After we were done with all that we went upstairs and started to settle down and speculate about various Twin Peaks theories, and tossing around the spiky ball i got at Seabreeze. Emmalee fell asleep while this was happening, thereby earning herself the most sleep award. Eventually the rest of us did got to bed, but i only got between 2 and 3 hours of sleep myself, and it was getting light out while i was trying to fall asleep. In the morning we had yummy bakery food for breakfast. I must remember how yum the maple walnut scones are. After we ate our breakfast we watched The Little Mermaid to counter-act any side affects of watching so much twin peaks, and i coincidentally had my little mermaid pillow-case on the pillow i brought, so all was cool and good. After that we started up Pee Wee's christmas special, but Andrew and I got picked up before it ended. The next marathon, it has been determined, will have to be a disney princessathon. Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Beauty and the Beast, Maybe Robin Hood, the whole enchilada! No Bambi though i hope... Oh well. Anyway the whole thing was awesome.
For today..well in the morning i was woken up and told we were going to go get my tap shoes for my new tap class i had today! It was very cool. Tap shoes are very expensive though. Then we went to pick up Elsa from her art lesson and hung out there for a bit while she finished, and then we went to do our first phase of shoe shopping for Elsa. Elsa got very upset and she didn't find anything. I found some really cool heels at Famous footwear though, and i didn't even GET to the clearence section. Then we picked up Bagels and went home. After that we went back out to lu's back door where, luckily, Elsa found some shoes that weren't too box-like and chunky for her tastes. She seems to like things with square toes.
I just watched marital arts to day and did homework, then i walked over to park ave. dance for my Tap Class!!! It was pretty good. Very speedy for a first class, which the teacher apologised for, but still fun. so yay! It's only once a week though...she implied we should practice, and for obvious reason, other than that technically you always should. Okay...going to take my contacts out now...
