Ha! Yes, I remember that incident! XD

It wasn't so much that I knew. It wasn't, for me at least, a sudden feeling of "Aha, this is it". Or just "knowing", because picking a college is like trying to pick something that will be right for you in the future, and that’s always tricky and unpredictable. One of the things I didn’t have was a clear picture of what I wanted in a college. Some people know exactly what they want when they start looking, but I wasn't one of those people. I was fairly sure I wanted a big city, because I really do love big cities, and while I don't think I'd want to live in one my whole life, I think that I wanted one to grow up in, so to speak. Donna Burke told me she saw me at a small, liberal arts college. The problem with that is, of course, I have no idea what I'm doing. Really. I mean, I know I like English, and I want to visit Japan, and music is so amazing, but really, I don't know what I'm doing. And I'm indecisive. So while I may want to go into this major one day, the next day I'm signing up for an entirely different set of classes. And so part of why I picked Temple was that, well, it's big. It's big, and it's in a big city, and that provides a lot of different opportunities, not just in terms of school, but just, everything.

So yeah. Hope that was long and rambling enough to at least sort of answer your question. XP
