AN: I applied for Kakashi for a RPGroup and I thought this actually made a fine drabble, so here it is:
Kakashi paused with one foot barely touching the ground as the bright book covers caught his interest. He slowly looked both ways down the street, making sure he was alone. He slowly took a few steps backwards, gazing through the shop window while trying not to look too interested. He took a deep breath, checking the street again. What was he so worried about? He was of legal age now. He could look if he wanted.
Repeating it to himself over and over in his head like a mantra, he turned to face the glass, putting his hands on it to stare in at the books. -Perhaps…- He thought to himself. -I could buy one… See what it's all about…- He turned away, about to walk off and then quickly turned and ran into the bookstore. He nodded once at the clerk as his heart started to pound, wondering whether he'd be asked for identification. He carefully stepped up to the window display and chose the first one with a bid 'forbidden for minors' sticker. -Icha Icha Paradise,- he read to himself and flipped it open midway.
-Her breasts reminded him of mountains caught early in the morning sun, her sweat like the early morning dew. Her panting breaths like the early morning fog while…-
Kakashi slammed the book shut, thankful he always wore a mask. He had no doubt he was sporting a mighty blush at this moment. He swallowed nervously as he made his way to the counter and place the book on it. "I'd like to buy this, please."
