Unemployed rant
What is it with businesses doing the following:
Me: "Hi, are you hiring?"
Them: "No, we're not hiring, but you're welcome to fill out an application! :D"
What do they honestly expect my answer to be? "Oh sure! I'm so grateful that you're allowing me this oppurtunity to waste my time on a false hope!!"
If you're not hiring, you're not getting my resume. If you're not hiring, I'm not wasting a half-hour filling out an application. I have better things to do with that half-hour. Like scavenge your dumpster in the back for food.
