kamenashi Hayato, my son, my Lover... 11

Dec 14, 2009 22:27

The four best friends were laughing as they talk about their spring break.
It’s always the usual with their playboy of a best friend, Jay, went off to Miami, and had a “bangin’” break.

Nick stayed in the city, and just spent his break with his girl.

Riley went to Alaska, fishing for some wild salmon and the ever oh so delicious Alaskan King Crabs.
The boys thought it was stupid, but changed their mind after they tasted the very delicious food.

Hayato rants off about his break with his “lady-love”, in his mind, he kept chanting the older’s name, Kazuya, Kazuya, Kazuya.

Just as promised, after the older went back from San Francisco, (he told the teen he was within the country, when in fact he was on the other side of the world) they talked about Spring Break.
The teen wanted to go down to Cancun, Mexico.
Being 18, and just recently lost his virginity, and agreeing with his friends that sex is awesome, he wanted his spring break to be… well, sexy, hot, and non-stop love making with his love.

Kame whacked his head and laughed at that.

“So, we went to London.”

He concluded.

“Did ya stop by Amsterdam???”

Nick gave him a playful wink.

“Ahhh… Amsterdam…”
Jay sighed dreamily.
“Brings back wonderful… sexy memories.”

“Well, if you insist, it’s sex memories.”

He burst into laughter, Nick and Riley following suit, where as Hayato just shook his head.

“Dude, it’s spring break!”
Jay pushed him away playfully.
“It’s the time to play, fuck, have fun, and did I mention fuck?”

“I mean, for fuck’s sake, we’re going to college!”
“It’s just going to be work, work, and more work!!!”
“So… why not have the time of our lives NOW?”

“Pfft!”
Nick scoffed.
“Yeah! Like you’re going to focus once you get to college, Jay.”

“Yeah, I know!”
Hayato laughed.
“You did say you’re going to Stony Brook, retard!”

“The college specialized in science… and PARTIES.”
“So, I bet my money you’d hit them booze and bang ‘em hoes before you hit the books.”
“Right?”

“Sorry, Jay.”
Riley shrugged.
“But, ya know Hayato’s always right.”

They burst into laughter again.

“Mr. Dalton.”

The boys stopped walking and cringed over the very high demanding tone.

“Ms. Johnson…”
Jay forced a smile.
“Is something the matter?”

“You are missing an elective credit, Mr. Jay Dalton.”
She said blankly.
“Last semester I told you to take music class, which you failed.”

“Music isn’t my thing.”

Jay shrugged.

“Mr. Dalton, you’ve attended 4 times in the whole semester.”
The middle aged lady rubs her temple.
“You deserved the failing grade.”

“But you know basket ball is more important than some music class.”

He grinned.

All three of his comrades gave their own foreheads a smack over the stupid remark their friend gave.

“Mr. Dalton, you can’t graduate with that big fat F and a missing credit.”
“You have to go to summer school.”
“And no graduation ceremony either.”

“W-what???!”
He gasped.
“Ms. Johnson… have mercy on me.”

“Can’t you… close your eyes, and place a credit in my transcript, or something?”
“I mean… I’m sure Nick or Hayato has some extra elective credits in theirs, and I’m sure they’ll
                happily give one to me.”
“Right?”

Both of them slowly nods.

“Doesn’t work like that, Mr. Dalton.”
The lady said boredly.
“Your choices are summer school, science fair, or the talent show.”

“The teachers that are in charge of both events will give you the elective credits.”
“The physics club is in need of an extra person in their club.”
“And the talent show sure can use more people in the show.”

“The choice is yours, Mr. Dalton.”
She smirked.
“I’m sure you have more talent than go around the field and score touch downs.”

“Have a good day, boys.”

She threw Hayato a glance, and walked away.

“COURT!!!”
Jay yelled after.
“And I play BASKET BALL!!!”

“We have REBOUNDS!!!”
He exclaimed.
“UGH! That bitch hates me!!!”

“Dude, you did skip classes last semester.”

Riley placed a hand on his shoulder and shook his head.

“Yeah, and… you didn’t skip it for practice, you dick!”
Hayato punched him in the arm.
“You bailed on practices a lot around those times.”

“Yeah, you could do me a favor, ass!”
Jay growled.
“The bitch obviously has a very soft spot on you!”

Hayato raised his brow.

“You could enlighten her day a bit.”
He mumbled.
“Tap her ass… or… something.”

“Eww… she’s old!!!”

Riley cringed.

“Kazumi’s old.”
Jay stated.
“You like em old, no?”

“Kazumi’s hot!”

Both Riley and Nick exclaimed.

They cleared their throat and looked away when the boyfriend of said “KAZUmi” glared at them.

“I’m screwed.”

Jay sighed, and walked away.

“Dude, the science department is upstairs!!!”

Nick exclaimed.

“Well, maybe he’ll join the talent show.”

Riley shrugged.

“Yeah…”
Hayato frowned.
“Let’s just hope he won’t bring a female participant up on the stage.”

“Huh?”

The other two blinked.

“Do you remember what Jay always boasts around?”

Hayato said slowly.

“N…o…?”

Both of them frowned.

“Our friend, is a horn dog.”
He said slowly.
“So…”

Realizations dawned on the other two.

“Shit!”
Riley gasped.
“Is he going to do some perverted things…”

“ON stage?!”

“Uh… Jay may be a horn dog, but… he won’t… do… some kind of things like that publicly.”

Nick defended, although he fidgeted.

“Nick, the talent show’s tomorrow.”
Riley pointed on the flyers around the hallway.
“All these years we know Jay Dalton, what else is he good at beside basket ball?”

“Let’s just hope that’s what he’s showing.”
Hayato sighed and slowly walked away.
“Basket ball.”

“Where you goin’???!”
Riley exclaimed.
“Thought we’re going to Times Square?”

“I am such a good friend.”

Hayato mumbled and kept walking away to where Jay had gone to.

*******___*****

“So, my brother might not graduate…?”
Rie asked slowly.
“Because of one elective credit?”

“That’s what the guidance said.”

Nick nodded.

“Thank goodness your dad is away.”
Rinko Dalton, Jay and Rie’s mom shook her head.
“What did he do to cut class everyday like that?”

Nick and Riley cleared their throats and pretend on not knowing anything.

“Uncle Kazuya…”

Rie waved.

“Hi everyone.”

Kame smiled, and took a seat next to Rinko.

“You look upset.”

He chuckled at the lady.

“He failed music class, they said.”
She sighed.
“Only attended four classes in the whole semester.”

Kame laughed and shook his head.

“Like I said, we should trade Hayato for Jay, okaa-san.”

Rie grinned.

Kame faked a laugh and shook his head at that statement.

“I mean… to fail on music class…”
She sighed again.
“Good thing there’s a talent show for him to make it up for.”

“Well, not everyone is good in music, Rinko.”
Kame pats her shoulder.
“Jay and Hayato are almost alike.”

“When they find things uninteresting, they’d walk away, and make strings of excuses to escape from it.”

“I guess you’re right.”
She took a deep breath to calm herself.
“Well, let’s hope he at least does something good so that graduating ticket is guaranteed for him.”

“Nick, Riley… where’s Hayato?”

“Ah, he’s with Jay backstage.”

Nick replied.
_____*****_______

“No.”

Hayato said blanky.

“OH!”
Jay gaped.
“Dude… come on, just-“

“No.”

Hayato cut off.

“Hayato, do me this ONE favor, and-“

“Okay.”

He smiled.

“Okay?!”

Jay’s face lightened up.

“Ah. No.”
Hayato got up.
“Besides, it’s YOUR talent show.”

“How the fuck do I fit into it!?”
“YOUR talent show and it’s YOUR butt up that stage.”
“NOT mine.”

“Hayato…”
Jay sighed.
“Look… my talent… is to produce…”

“And… by you up there…”
He pointed.
“Singing and danc-“

“Yeah, ME!”
He flailed his arms up and down.
“Jay! It’s basically you’re lying to people, saying you produced me to some kind of… idol.”

“Hello… it runs in the family.”
He rolled his eyes.
“Have you forgotten that my dad, Thomas Dalton is a famous director/producer?”

“Yeah… HELLO!!!”
Hayato mocked.
“Have you forgotten that you WOULDN’T produce me if I do go up on that stage???!”

“Look…”
Jay sighed.
“You have great voice, and… I think you can dance.”

Hayato raised his brow.

“I heard you sing sometimes when you think you’re in the locker alone.”

Jay looked away mumbled.

“How would you know I can dance?”

“When we were little, your uncle… the tall, the one that smiles one a lot-“

“Uncle Junno?”

Hayato crossed his arms.

“Yes… him!”
Jay nodded.
“He taught you how to dance, no?”

“Jay… we were in kindergarten, and it was a tap dance for the Nutcracker play.”
“It was cute then, and I haven’t even tap dance ever since.”
“Or any type of dance!”

“Dude… come on…”
Jay said softly.
“You know I don’t know what else to do.”

“I know this is a cheap trick, and you don’t want to get dragged into any of my monkey businesses…”
“But… I didn’t know that me failing music class would result me to not graduate with you guys.”
“And… with basket ball, I can only score and assist you.”

“I can’t do much about it other than that.”
He lowered his head.
“You’re the star of the court, and the MVP…”

“So…”

Hayato closed his eyes, and sighed loudly, cutting the other off.

“You owe me.”
Hayato said blankly.
“BIG time.”

“DUDE!!!”
Jay broke into a grin.
“I LOVE YOU!!!!”

Hayato tsked and walked out to make a short trip to some shop for his sudden performance.

****_____*****

“Ah, your brother’s on, Rie.”

Rinko pointed to the stage as her son made it to the spot light.

“Where’s Hayato?”

Kame frowned, looking around the auditorium.

“He’s probably watching from the backstage.”
Nick shook his head.
“Man… we should’ve join, and laughed at Jay!!!”

“Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, teachers, and fellow students.”

Jay smiled, as he said it in to the microphone.

“I know you’re expecting me to perform like what the pamphlet said.”

Some of the crowds frown and mumble to each other.
Jay could see the show’s staff not happy with his sudden change.
And some show some support to him.

“Doesn’t mean I have no talent.”
He smirked.
“Like my father, Thomas Dalton, who’ve taught me some of his works…”

“Dad taught me to produce and direct on the side if he’s not too busy.”
“And… I want to introduce you tonight, well, I don’t have to, because he is the most popular
                guy in school…”

The girls clapped and squealed.

“Holy cow, does he mean-“

Riley gave Nick a knowing look.

“So ladies and gentlemen… please enjoy the show…”
