Finally, I had managed to finish reading the compilation "The Lost". Out of the four stories, I enjoyed more from J.D. Robb's Missing in Death and Mary Blayney's Lost in Paradise as they made you want to continue reading it because of the stories' splendid plot and the intricate feelings of the characters. Another element in the two stories which made me curious to find out its ending is the paranormal stuff. (In Missing in Death, the paranormal stuff is the device which allow one to lose its time and in Lost in Paradise, the paranormal stuff is the curse which caused a man to live for more than a century.) Although in Patricia Gaffney's The Dog Days of Laurie Summer, there is the paranormal part about Laurie being in the dog's body, it was not enough to keep you going and there was not much climax. Yet, it was worth reading the other two stories despite them being simple, they highlighted on the power of love and hope.
