I wish you would step back from that ledge my friend
I know I haven't written in awhile, just haven't really found anything to right about, but I think I have.
I've been working at Charley's for a collective amount of about 6 or 7 months... now, when Bass and Logan took over, it was ok... my hours were pretty good (monday wednesday, friday close).. but ever since I went to Montreal to see Jon, my hours have been cut dramatically... as in, I went from making a good $300+ a paycheque, to my last paycheque which was $65. I mean, it was one thing when I didn't like working there but I was making good money... it's another when I don't like working there, AND i'm getting under $100 per paycheque.... on top of which, my PHONE BILL was more than my paycheque, so what am I going to do there?!
It's really started to get to the point where I'm becoming depressed every time I go to work... and ya, work is work, not play, but I'd like to have a bit of a good time at least, ya know? Not to mention, most of the time now my parents can't drive me home, so it's $10 every time I work to get home, which is about 1.5 hours of work for me, JUST so I can get home from a job I don't like doing anyway..
I need to find something closer to home, that pays about the same amount... but where am I going to work? Everyone I've spoken to about Sobeys has told me to stay away, and they all say the same thing, that they'll treat you like shit and give you ass hours for shitty wages...
The theatre is an option, but Derrick has been cut to one shift a week, so why would they need another person? What does this world have in store for me when it comes to work? I mean... I won't lie, I don't like working, but I have to so I can live, but what can I do that I don't mind that I can live off of?
*sigh* I dunno, End of the semester, shitty jobness, bills to pay (NOW I UNDERSTAND!)...
At least I get a free weekend without the parents... that + keys = win.
