long time no see, OTH
Delayed reaction much? LOL Anyway, this week's new (finally, it took long enough) OTH was pretty good. Am I the only one who couldn't care less about Miranda and Grubbs? Because I'm generally indifferent to them and I get that I'm not supposed to be, but they just do nothing for me. Maybe later I'll go back and add up how much time of that episode was spent on them, because everytime they were on screen all I could think about was that there were other storylines (of major characters, no less) that could have been advanced at least a little in that time. Especially if (hopefully not, but if) these are the last episodes of the series. Meh. /end rant
Haley's parts of this episode...;_;. Bethany Joy Galeotti owned it, as usual. (<3) I'm wondering how much the negative pregnancy test vs. her mother's death had to do with her breakdown at the end. She seemed on board with what Nathan was saying, but then that look over his shoulder? IDK. I loved Nathan and Jaime's conversation about looking after her, it was sweet. Poor Haley.
The sex tape stuff....hmm. It was nice of Brooke to encourage Julian to help Alex, and it made sense considering her history. Other than that? Meh. Glad to see Brooke and Julian back together.
Okay, this may be the second rant of this post. ...Mouth and Lauren. *sigh* Okay. I'm pretty anti-violence, but I honestly think Mouth had that one coming. In what universe would it be okay to date your so-called best friend's girl/ex-girl/whatever...even if they didn't think he wasn't coming back the fact that seemed to be hiding it from him made it obvious they knew it was wrong. Neither of them seemed to care very much about how Skills would feel and that is what really left the bad taste in my mouth. Lauren and Mouth were both like 'Oh, Skills is gone, and who cares how he feels anyway, lets jump into a relationship'. And that was before he even came back! After that? They should've either been honest with him or ended their little thing completely.
Overall I was jut glad to see the show back. :D
I saw Why Did I Get Married Too this past weekend, for Janet. More on that later - I'm a little tired and have school tomorrow.
