Dennis the Menace

Hello everyone~~~

I made it back home and I'm happy to say my house and my parent's house are still in one piece! Not much damage- just lots of tree limbs down- to my parent's home in Mary Esther. Our house in Pensacola is another story. 6 pine trees fell in our front yard. A 60 ft pine tree in front of our house broke in half and crushed out patio fence and my gardens :(   ---narrowly missing our house! A lot to clean up but no damage to the inside of our house. This storm certainly wasn't as bad as Ivan last year but Navarre and Destin beaches are pretty much destroyed again and Highway 98 on Okaloosa Island was washed out and it'll take them atleast 3 monthes to fix that. But I'm grateful we made it through everything.

Jonathan lucked out and he's in Washington for Officer's School. So I evacuated with my parents and our three dogs: Charlie, Bella, and Jagger to my aunt's house in Paris, Kentucky. Talk about a fun road trip- 13 hours in a car w/ 3 dogs!! Check out the pics below. I hope everyone is doing well. ***Cut & paste links to see Hurricane Dennis pics~~~ 1.) http://photobucket.com/albums/y25/Peace4ever/hurricane%20dennis/?action=view&slideshow=true 2.) http://www.palmbeachpost.com/storm/content/shared/weather/slideshows/dennis_gulf/

Keep in touch,

Jagger and Bella were perfect dogs on the trip! They slept for the entire car ride.

What a hand full! I probably won't be taking my hyper puppy on anymore road trips.

Some of my Kentucky family. My cousins Becca, Noah, and Sean.

The Pcola Bridge. Scary~~ ( Looks like "War of the Worlds"!)
