Happy monday friends! My sil and bil left yesterday, we had a really nice visit. Friday they went down to south_by_southwest with my hubby. I did'nt go because i don't drink, which they did plenty of downtown. They took the new "no hangover" pill, I think it's called "Chaser"? Saturday we hung out around the house watching movies and I baked a cake. We took them out for mexican food which was damn good! We also did some site seeing around here. All in all it was a nice time had by all, very relaxed and layed back! This is Kristin's big week. Its cheerleader tryouts on friday, so I will ask you all to please say a prayer for her, she enjoys her cheerleading so much, and is up against lots of competetion this year. Spring break with all kids home, hmmmmmm I've forgotten how stressful it can be. I think Im gonna send D.J and Darbie to my mom's this summer, for a month. It just get's to much with all 3 here all the time. They need to go to bball camp at Texas Tech anyways! Kristin plans on getting a job this summer, which will be great. But she is being picky, no waitressing jobs. That's how I made all of my money when i was in college and working. It's fun to get cash(tips) everytime you work too! But she says "I can't work around food". She wants a job at a tanning salon so she can get free tanning. We went out to her friend Angeline's house to plan the girl's 16th birthday party, they are having one together. We are having a hot tub party. Angeline already has a pool. So we are renting a couple of hottubs, they wanted to do something nobodys done and I remembered a "hot tub" party someone thru oour senior class and they liked that idea. We decided on just decorating with clear lights everywhere, we will have a tent where the food will be served. The menu is hot dogs, chips, Queso, salsa,potato salad, pasta salad, fruit salad, tea, lemonade, water, and cake! They need to make a list , but I think they are inviting 40ish kids. It will be so much more affordable since we are splitting the cost rt. down the middle. Should turn out nice! Im going to the movies today, I need to let my mind take a break from reality for 2hrs. I think I might see "Man of the House" with Tommy lee Jones. We are having wonderful thunderstorms this morning, lot's of thunder though, loud thunder. Have a great day!
