Kouyou Takashima was standing before his bedroom mirror, studying himself carefully. He wasn’t wearing his dancing outfit yet, and he couldn’t help but stare at the big, purple bruises on his legs. He had overworked himself that whole week, and was glad that the previous day, he had given himself the day off. But today, it was back to work, and Kouyou couldn’t feel more nervous. Today was going to be the first day that he rehearsed with Yuu.

Yuu wasn’t the nicest guy around, as far as Kouyou knew. The way he had talked to him on the day of their meeting was just rude. Yuu didn’t seem to care about anything or anyone in particular, and his nonchalant way of seeing everything just made Kouyou more nervous than he already was. Just thinking about the possible comments that would escape the other’s lips. Kouyou wasn’t one to take criticism very lightly, and he was sure that he was going to cry on that very day. He didn’t wear much make up because he was predicting what would happen.

Driving up to the auditorium where he did his dancing wasn’t very hard. Although he was nervous, he managed to keep calm and made it. What was really hard on him was remembering that Yuu had told him that he was supposed to meet him at HIS dance studio that morning. Kouyou checked his phone, trying to refresh his memory on where he was supposed to be.

In the calendar, there was an address. It also said that he had to be there at 5 am. Kouyou hurriedly looked at his phone clock to find that it was already 5:30 am, 30 minutes after he was supposed to meet with Yuu. He turned on his car a drove like a madman before stopping at a large building, much larger than he expected it to be. It looked too business-like for his taste, and wondered if he was even in the right place.

Nevertheless, he got out of his car, wearing a large trench coat and covering the revealing skin that the outfit under showed. It was kind of cold outside, so he clutched his handbag until his knuckles were white and hurried into the building, locking his car as he ran towards the entrance.

When he went inside, there was a woman behind a desk. The lobby had no people in it, and the walls were white. The couches were white. The tables was white. Everything was totally and completely white. He was surprised by how serene the inside of a such a business-like building was. He smiled as he looked around, finally meeting the eyes of the woman that was sitting behind the desk. She looked at him and smiled, signaling him to come closer.

“Are you Koyo Takosume?” The woman looked on her computer screen and started typing some thins.

“It’s Kouyou Takashima.” Kouyou glared slightly but softened his face when he remembered that it wasn’t the woman’s fault that she hadn’t gotten his name down right. She looked at him and nodded, typing more things down before giving him a small piece of paper that she printed off of the computer. It had his name on it and a number. It also had a tiny map with a red dot somewhere around the corner of the paper. He concluded that it was a map of the building.

“Go to the room on the paper. Mr. Shiroyama is waiting for you there.” She instructed.

Kouyou stared at the paper, mentally gluing the way to his head. He went on the elevator and hoped it wouldn’t take long. He checked his watch and it was 6:00 am. He quietly prayed when the elevator opened, and he found the room. He knew Yuu was going to give him crap for being late, but how was he supposed to remember? It was his fault, yes, but it was the first day.

“You’re late.” Yuu muttered when Kouyou went into the room and removed his trench coat, allowing it to fall to the side of the room. It was pretty roomy, and had a large floor that was fit for dancing. Kouyou had never seen a fancier dance studio, and was extremely excited to get on that floor.

“I know, I know.” Kouyou muttered, running to the floor, closing his eyes and he felt the ground underneath him. It was smooth and perfect and something he had never experienced before. If only he could be on there by himself, and not with Yuu watching his every move. He pretended that Yuu wasn’t there, and was able to show him his routine.

Kouyou felt better than he had ever felt before. The fluency in his moves showed it too. He looked better than any woman would dancing, and his legs were strong enough to keep him from losing his balance. The way he danced reminded him of fish swimming in the ocean, just moving forward and trying to get to their main goal. He closed his eyes and let the feeling take over his whole being, not even peeking for a second.

It started to get warmer in the room, as he went over his routine and deeper into what he was so used to doing. After a while, he forgot about his routine and just made up his own moves, all of them matching with the music that began playing without him noticing. He had forgotten to turn on the music and Yuu had obviously done it for him.

Yuu.

Kouyou remembered where he was after what seemed like a few minutes, which were actually almost an hour, and stopped himself in the middle of his random practice. He didn’t want to open his eyes. He knew that Yuu would have some sort of expression on his face that was disapproving, and he wasn’t at all ready to hear the man’s harsh judgment. After such a nice feeling, his dreams were going to be crushed and he knew it. Hesitantly, he opened his eyes.

Only inches away from his nose was Yuu, smiling at him. Kouyou had apparently been so caught up in the music that he had gotten so close to Yuu. Yuu didn’t move though, he just kept that friendly smile on his face. It was a weird sight to see, or so Kouyou thought. For the few minutes that he had met Yuu a few days before, he had concluded that this man was colder than ice. But at this very moment, he looked so happy, so nice, it was almost child-like, and Kouyou was impressed by how easily his face could melt his heart.

Kouyou felt like Yuu was way too close to him after a few seconds of staring at each other, so he excused himself by backing away and giving off a fake cough, covering his mouth with his fist. Yuu wouldn’t stop smiling regardless, and soon enough, he gave 3 whole claps before looking around the room and then looking at Kouyou.

“That was great.”

“I’m not the best, but you don’t have to-what?”

“It was really great. Your dance moves were a little rough, but the passion that you put into it fixed the problem. You didn’t think about it, did you? They just came to you?” Yuu tilted his head, pulling up a chair so Kouyou could sit and pulling up one for himself.

“Thank you.” Kouyou bowed before taking a seat and then crossed his tired legs. They were now becoming jelly, burning with pain. “I just…the feel of this floor. It inspired me.”

“I see that.” Yuu looked at the floor before turning his gaze back to Kouyou. Kouyou was feeling a little uneasy, Yuu’s eyes making him feel like someone was staring into his soul. They were gorgeous, and he couldn’t help but turn away slightly to keep from drowning in them. “Tell me about yourself.”

“What about myself?” Kouyou swallowed.

“Everything. I would like to know about you so I can help you reflect your individual style into your dancing. Although I see that you do that a lot already.” Yuu smiled, lying a little. He knew that he didn’t need to know about Kouyou to improve his sloppy, yet elegant dance moves. All he wanted to do was get to know the other a little better.

“I like to dance.” Kouyou lowered his eyes. “That is all.”

“I’m pretty sure there is other things to you, Kouyou.” Yuu stared.

“No.” Kouyou shook his head. “All I’ve ever wanted to do is dance. I promised my mother that I would do it. And that I would not let anything get in the middle of me and this goal.”

“And where is your mother?” Yuu didn’t want to ask because normally, he was given a sob story when asking about one’s parents.

“America.”

Yuu sighed in relief, glad to know that she was still alive.

“She went there to run away from my dad,” Kouyou continued. “He beat her. So she left, but wasn’t able to take me with her. She said that if I danced like she did, I could make it to America, and we could be together again.” Kouyou smiled, thinking about hugging his mother for the first time since he was much younger. He wondered how he would find her in the middle of all the Americans, but he knew that his mother would find him when he arrived. He didn’t lose hope.

“I’ll be sure to get you there.” Yuu leaned forward, showing the most understanding eyes.

Then, Yuu hugged him. Kouyou was sticky, and sweaty, and he knew he probably didn’t smell the best at the moment, but Yuu was still hugging him in the most protective way. His arms were around Kouyou’s figure, his chin resting on the other’s head, leaning closer and rubbing his hands alone the side of Kouyou’s arms.

Kouyou’s heart was racing. He had never felt a touch so lovely, so sweet. Not since he had last seen his mother, at least. He didn’t want to let go and hoped that Yuu wanted to keep him in his arms as well. Sadly, Yuu pulled away after a little, clearing his throat in an embarrassed manner and looking at his feet. Kouyou began massaging his own legs, pulling some mint-scented lotion to ease the pain that he was feeling in his legs.

Yuu stared at him as he massaged them, biting his plump bottom lip, just watching the other as he touched his legs in such a sexy manner, it almost killed Yuu. Yuu began thinking about Kouyou for a moment, and how gorgeous his legs were. How gorgeous his everything was, actually. He wondered why he had been so mean to the other at first, now noticing how delicate the other was. He was like a diamond.

Kouyou was more beautiful than his dancing as well, which shocked Yuu because most dancers were normally people that wanted to be strippers, but were too ugly for that. Kouyou, on the other hand, was the most beautiful man that he had ever laid eyes on, and with his beauty, he would have even concluded that he was a woman from far away.

Yuu crossed his legs with such pressure, feeling an uneasy sensation in his pants. He shook his thoughts away, remembering that he was only to train Kouyou and nothing more. But, Kouyou looked like he would do anything to please Yuu. He was so desperate to learn how to dance better, so he would probably listen to Yuu. About anything. What a gullible little princess.

Yuu licked his lips, but blew the feeling away, closing his eyes and thinking about something else. He couldn’t come on to Kouyou so strong. It was only the first day that they had began practicing. Maybe, Yuu could wait a little longer?

He nodded mentally before speaking up.

“Kouyou?”

Kouyou’s angelic face lifted, looking at Yuu with the most adorable smile. “Hai, Yuu-sama?”

“Go home.” Yuu said, crossing his legs harder after seeing a tiny drop of sweat dripping off of Kouyou’s sexy lips. Yuu’s mouth watered, it was getting harder for him to talk. “We are dancing together in 2 days. Here. Same time.”

Kouyou nodded and he picked up his things, walking out of the room. “Bye bye!”

“Bye.” Yuu muttered, uncrossing his legs after he heard Kouyou close the door after he left.

Author’s Note: Managed to do this. EGH. It was tough. Hopefully next week will be much easier. And hopefully I didn't disappoint. ;A;
