Saga’s fingers trembled very slowly as he touched the surface of Tora’s mask. Tora had agreed to let him remove it as long as he promised not to run away. Although the warning made Saga wonder whether he should remove the mask or not, he was more curious on what Tora’s face looked like.
He was getting nervous, the pit of his stomach hurting while his heart was racing. He felt as if he was getting closer to Tora, just by being able to see such a minimal feature. Saga had never really thought about what it may look like, because his imagination was not that well evolved. All he knew was that he wanted to see it, regardless of its appearance.
Tora sat completely still, but Saga could feel his eyes not peeling away from him. He was watching, waiting for everything to be over. It was quite understandable to Saga. He knew that he would have been just as nervous if he saw Tora removing his mask while he was still conscious. The fact that he wasn’t aware made everything much better.
“You’re taking too long.” Tora finally spoke up as Saga kept hesitating to remove his mask. “If you’re that scared, perhaps I shouldn’t show you.” Tora lifted his hands slowly and pulled Saga’s wrists down.
“No!” Saga frowned. “I want to see what you look like, I won’t chicken out!” Tora wasn’t holding his wrists in a tight manner, it felt kind of loving and delicate. It was not difficult to raise his hands to Tora’s mask again, this time, running over the edges.
Saga took a few seconds to finally decide to pull it away. He shut his eyes tightly and quickly removed it when he couldn’t see, opening his eyes even faster so he could see Tora’s face.
Saga didn’t exactly see his face, though.
He felt it.
Feeling was another way of seeing, or it somehow worked that way. Although Saga could most definitely see that Tora was pale, had an eye patch and a scar over his top lip, Saga was busier feeling all of it.
Tora’s skin was rather interesting. It wasn’t as baby smooth as Saga’s was. Tora definitely looked like he had been around a lot, because he didn’t exactly look like someone who cared much. He also looked manlier, or someone that Kohara-sama would definitely never mess with. If there was someone that looked like a dictator, it was Tora.
“What are you doing?” Tora chuckled, his face turning noticeably red at the feeling of Saga’s fingertips exploring his cheeks and chin.
“Not much.” Saga replied, this time holding on to Tora’s jaw, surprised at how it felt. It felt hard and angular, as if it was made out of some sort of material, but definitely not human. He was so busy touching it and trying to figure out what was different about it that he didn’t notice Tora leaning closer to him.
Suddenly, Saga could only feel Tora’s jaw, but he couldn’t see it. All he could see was Tora’s uncovered eye in his face and feel Tora’s [also shockingly angular] nose pressed on his own. He wanted to continue looking at Tora’s features, but this felt a little uncomfortable, so Saga took the liberty of pushing him away and continued to touch his face.
Tora exhaled in a frustrated manner, but Saga didn’t notice it very well. He did sense that something was wrong, though.
“What’s the matter?” Saga pouted, letting go of Tora’s chin and just looking at him now. The more he looked into Tora’s eye, the more enchanted he felt by its gaze. He wondered why Tora had something over his other eye, but he didn’t linger on it too much. Despite the fact that he couldn’t see the other eye, he could somehow still feel it watching him.
“Nothing.” Tora stood up, taking Saga’s hand. He guided him gently back to his room, not answering more of the questions that he had for him.
“You’re a really confusing person.” Saga glared. “No wonder you don’t seem to have many people on your side.” Saga tried to make himself look like a bigger person by standing on his toes in the entrance of his bedroom.
“And you’re really annoying.” Tora retorted. “You don’t understand anything at all, yet you expect people to stoop to your level of stupidity just so you can feel like everything is okay.”
Saga blinked. He didn’t know what to feel. It kind of stung a bit, making him feel uncomfortable again. He frowned and then pressed his lips together, just staring at Tora. He hoped Tora didn’t put his mask back on because his face was really interesting to look at. It made him understand things a little better.
And what Saga understood was that he had made Tora angry.
“I’m not.” Saga answered quietly, almost jumping so he could look into Tora’s gaze even better.
He felt unexpected elevation, no, something different. He thought he was being elevated, because Tora’s face got closer to his again, but it wasn’t elevation. Tora was leaning down over his face as he had been doing when they were in the other room. Before Saga got a chance to notice this, his lips were greeted by a warmth that he wasn’t expecting.
It was on his lips. They were on his lips. Tora’s lips, or that’s what Saga distinguished. He didn’t understand what they were doing, but his lips turned into a smile. He continued to smile as Tora nibbled on his lips just a little bit, his eyes closed. Saga couldn’t close his eyes, he wanted to see. But no matter how hard he tried to look down, the image was covered by his and Tora’s nose.
When it was over, he felt a small noise and Tora was looking at him now. Saga was still smiling like an idiot, waiting to see if Tora had some sort of explanation for what had happened. Whatever it was, it made Saga’s stomach feel really excited, as did it make him unable to change his facial expression.
Tora was holding on to his jaw with both hands now, just looking at him and a weird kind of smile appearing on his lips this time. Saga knew he would never forget that look again.
“You’re really selfish.” Tora whispered, before letting go of his jaw and turning away, closing Saga’s door behind him.
Saga tried to open it, but it was locked. He still hadn’t figured out had to work the lights very well in the room, so he was trapped in the darkness. He managed to get to his bed and let his head rest against one of the larger pillows.
He used to be scared of a room so dark and large, but when Saga closed his eyes, it was no longer dark. The image of Tora’s smile was stuck there, replaying along with the emotions and sick stomach that he felt when Tora’s smile was on his. The room might have been dark, but just the thought of Tora lit it for him, and he thought that was okay.

“What should I call you?” Kohara-sama ate a grape in his hot tub, pulling Hiroto closer to him with a tight grip. Hiroto’s face was blank, but he continued to picture Tora’s home with that same sparkle in his eye. He didn’t know what to expect, but he had a pretty good idea. Tora had showed him many extravagant things, he was sure that his home was probably better than all of them combined.
“Call me your worst nightmare.” Hiroto answered, having a grape pressed to his lips by Kohara-sama and then forced into his mouth.
“You’re so cute~” Kohara giggled sweetly before pressing his own lips to Hiroto’s and then pulling away. “I will call you Pon.”
“Disgusting.” Hiroto wiped his lips, looking down into the water. The only lips he wanted were Tora’s, but he it’s not like he was going to go ahead and say it to Kohara. “You’re going to regret it all, very soon.”
“Of course not, honey.” Kohara smiled. “I am going to marry a cutie, Amano has not questioned me about it, I will get lots of wedding presents, my temple is almost done, AND my hair stylist is coming over today. Life is great!”
“You’re really annoying, did you know that?” Hiroto pulled himself away, and Kohara didn’t struggle. He was fine as long as Hiroto didn’t get out of the water.
“Uh, is that any way of talking to your future husband?” Kohara crossed his arms. “Stop being such a party pooper, now you made me sad.”
“Oh wow, that’s terrible.” Hiroto stopped and smiled in a twisted manner. “Wait. I’m not allowed to know what sad means. Nor terrible. My bad. Wait, bad doesn’t exist either.”
“Aren’t you a little too young to be one of those liberals I hear about? The one’s who get beheaded as soon as I hear something slipping out?” Kohara blinked. It was obvious that Hiroto had learned things somewhere, but he knew that he wouldn’t say anything. And if he didn’t, he would get angry and have to kill this boy, which he didn’t want to do. So he decided he wouldn’t question him very much and pretend nothing happened.
“Go ahead. Behead me. I think that’d be better than sitting here next to you eating grapes and listening to you talk like a homosexual unicorn.” Hiroto sunk further down into the warm water, hoping to disappear, but the hot tub was so shallow that he couldn’t exactly sink too far.
“You’re rather rude.” Kohara stared. “You know, I really like that you aren’t scared of me.”
“Then why do you kill anyone who isn’t scared of you?”
“Because none of them have been as cute as you.” Kohara stated plainly. “I wish I wasn’t someone you seem to loathe so I could make you fall in love with me before our wedding.”
“Me? Fall in love with you? That’s sick.” Hiroto stuck out his tongue.
“Guess that’s kind of silly, isn’t it?” Kohara laughed half-heartedly. “It was only a wish.”
Kohara stood up from the tub, pulling a bathrobe on himself and handing one to Hiroto.
“Dinner is in an hour. Shower and get dressed, my hair stylist will also be working with you.”
“I don’t want to.” Hiroto let the bathrobe fall into the water as he sulked inside.
“Too bad, you’re going to.” Kohara stared at him once again, but held it longer than before. “Please.”
He walked out of his bedroom and left Hiroto sitting there. Well, he sat there for a few moments before he got up and went to the shower.

“Who is it I’m going to kill again?” Saga sighed, looking down at a paper of instructions that he was way too lazy to read. It was the day after the kiss which Saga had somewhat forgotten because he was too busy trying to get over the fact that he was going to have to kill someone in two days.
“Fukashi, Riki, Estsuko and Eito.” Tora replied, rolling his eyes and pushing some plates of food on the table. “It’s on the sheet. All their positions and the method of murder that you must use for each of them.”
“Is there a reason for killing these people?” Saga tilted his head, stuffing his mouth with one of the rice balls that had been pushed in front of him.
“They are the closest people to Kohara I know.” Tora ate some of his own food and looked at Saga. “And their names spell ‘free’ together. Kohara will notice someone is after him and send people out to find us. Of course, I will be messaged about where they are going and I can get rid of them.”
“And what are you going to do while I kill these people?!” Saga’s eyes were wide.
“Rescuing Hiroto, of course.”
“You seem awfully close to this ‘Hiroto’ character.” Saga looked at his food blankly. He didn’t know why he was stating the obvious. It just happened.
“Yeah.” Tora answered, a mouthful of food. “He was the love of my life once.”
“Love?” Saga repeated, feeling his food getting stuck halfway down his throat.
