An Action Packed Week It Has Been!

Wednesday caught the opening of "Revenge of the Sith" thanks to dj_burn. It was superb and brought them all together nicely. Whereas the Matrix trilogy dwindled in glory as each new one was released, the first three episodes of Star Wars were like a fine wine.

Thursday was Bossanova (formerly the Viscount Ballroom on East Burnside) for Brit Pop night which actually was really good and the setting is fantastic! I topped the night of with catching the sunrise on Mt Tabor.

Friday was interesting. I attended nosferatulouis's birthday dinner at The Keg (yummy!) and then proceeded down to Nior for Gay/Fetish Night....that was interesting. Had fun there but my friend wanted to go to Barracuda's so we did. I'm not sure which place made me more uncomfortable.

Saturday was run Jeremy run! Started out with birthday shopping for my daughter, then my fire poi class, and then picking my daughter up. We went to Oaks Park which was all kinds of fun. Then we zipped down to Tualatin for a buddy's BBQ only to race back to the house and get ready to go out. The highlight of the weekend was the "Societas Insomnia, The Nightmare Company" show at the Roseland Grill. It by far was the most well rounded come together of fire dancing, suspension, performance art ensemble I think I have seen. I tip my hat to Nolan and the troope for their marvelous work. We then capped the evening at Nior which was a nice end to a long day. I saw sooooo many old friends that day.

Sunday was a little more chill maybe with my daughter Blake and her sisters joint B-day party at momma2's place. It went rather well and everybody enjoyed themselves I think. I then went to the Rock Bottom to hang with my Marine buddies and celebrate one of their birthdays.

Now I rest.....for there is much in store for this week already!
