Furniture and sundry for sale and giveaway
I am moving out of state, and there is a lot of nice stuff I can't take with me. It would probably be nice in your house, apartment, or dorm. You should have it. Here's a list:
-- Washer/dryer set. Perfectly good--we bought them for $225 with all the hookups. You can have them for a hundred or best offer, so long as you can take them away.
-- Big blue easy chair. It's comfortable to curl up in and in great condition. $50 or best offer.
-- Epic 70s couch. It is floral and sort of gold-colored and sits a zillion people and is comfortable to sleep on in a pinch. You want this couch. We would take it with us if we could. $60 or best offer so long as you can transport it.
-- Four-drawer bureau. Painted white. In great condition. Fits kind of a huge amount of stuff for how little space it takes up. $20 OBO.
-- Dinner table and four matching wooden chairs. Table's compact but seats plenty of people. Chairs are comfortable. $40 for the lot if you transport 'em.
-- IKEA cabinet. Compact but fits and enormous amount of stuff. Practically new. $50 OBO.
-- 2 brown fake-wood bookshelves, very sturdy. $20 for both OBO.
-- 1 tall, narrow white IKEA bookshelf. Like new. $20 OBO.
-- 1 small wood bookshelf that folds up for easy moving and storage. Ideal for dorm and apartment living. $20 OBO.
-- 2 awesome, comfortable wooden barstools. We will miss them. $15 for both or $10 each.
-- 4 basically-new green plastic lawn chairs. Stackable. Handy. Free.
-- Assorted flowerpots. Just come get them. Free.
-- Epic salvaged dentist's overhead lamp. Fully functional and plugs into a normal outlet. Super bright. No questions asked. $20 or best offer.
-- Digital projector and hookups. $40 OBO.
-- DVD player for hookup with a TV. $40 OBO.
-- Wheely plastic table thing with three drawers. Nice for a bathroom or bedside table. $10 or free if you buy something else.
-- Assortment of household lamps, all nice-looking and pretty much new. $5-10 each.
-- Small barbecue/brazier, ideal for back porches and apartment balconies. Free.
-- Small, nice-looking wooden desk made from a converted sewing table. Fits just about anywhere. $10 OBO.
-- Really nice full-size futon with decent frame that converts into a couch. I love this futon. It is super comfortable and has stood me in good stead. It is in great shape. $150 OBO.
These things all need to be gone by Friday. They are the kind of nice things you have when you're not in college any more, for dormtastic prices, because I am moving into a place a third the size of my current home. Make me an offer.
