You know what? I think...I really wanna go back to my original idea of what job I wanted, the job I always said I wanted as a kid, working with animals. I avoided it, thinking it was a lost cause due to the allergy I developed with the dust on animal fur (*Or at least I think that's what it is, as the allergy came about the same time as my dust ( Read more... )

You should totally give it a try! See if they have job openings or can help you find one.
Getting your license would be good too. You wouldn't have to rely on others and could go wherever you want.

You can't work at this store all your life, right? You gotta find something that's good for you.

I doubt they'll have job openings themselves, the pet rescue place is completly funded by charity I believe, but it would be good for the experiance, I'll keep a look out for animals jobs advertised.
True, I'd love to have that freedom, I'm just hoping that driving isn't as scary as I'm imagining it to be .__.

Doesn't hurt to try! :D Did you know you can get allergy shots for the animals yer allergic to(and the shots don't hurt, trust me. I've been getting shots for three years now)? I mean, I want to be an archaeologist, even though I'm not an outside person. :D

Tee-hee~ I've been working at a cat adoption center for most of the year, and it is a blast...it's just too bad I probably won't be able to go much in the future because I start college in a week--I'll most likely be too bogged down with homework even though I have my work days free!;_;

Plus Dad says I gotta get my driver's liscence: ever since I was nearly hit by a bus during a lesson(I believe it was my fault, had a bit of an ego pump prior...*Shouball'd*), I've gotten a bit paranoid about close calls like that happening again. Same situation as you, Togepi.:(

That sounds like a great idea!
And don´t be afraid, driving a car isn´t that scary ^^. Just be careful and don´t get nervous. And if you´re unsure, just slow down to keep an overview.

I´ll keep my fingers crossed that things will work out for you :)
