The Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning August: Osage County will end its Broadway run June 28 at the Music Box Theatre, producers announced late June 17.
When it closes, Tracy Letts' acclaimed drama - which opened on Broadway Oct. 30, 2007 - will have played 18 previews and 648 regular performances.
Tony Award winner Phylicia Rashad (Gem of the Ocean, A Raisin in the Sun, "The Cosby Show") currently stars opposite original cast member Amy Morton, who recently returned to the cast.
Letts' comic drama about a dysfunctional Plains family that reunites when the patriarch goes missing won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the 2008 Tony Award for Best New Play.
August: Osage County also features Elizabeth Ashley, Anne Berkowitz, Guy Boyd, John Cullum, Kimberly Guerrero, Brian Kerwin, Mariann Mayberry, Michael Milligan, Sally Murphy, Troy West and Frank Wood.

The three-act, three-and-a-half hour play made its world premiere at Chicago's Steppenwolf Theatre Company before heading to Broadway.
August: Osage County is produced by Jeffrey Richards, Jean Doumanian, Steve Traxler and Jerry Frankel. Anna D. Shapiro directed and won a Tony for her work.

A national tour of August: Osage County launches July 24-Aug. 8 in Denver at the Ellie Caukins Opera House before moving to San Francisco's Curran Theatre Aug. 11-Sept. 6.
